SystemThe juvenile detention system is broken because all troubled teens should be
treated for instead of punished, rising recidivism rates are caused by punishment
itself. The youth spends a lot of time that could be spent in a classroom behind
bars. This issue is like a butterfly effect affecting society. The youth should be
getting treated instead of being punished, serving punishment is the root of the
problem. Justice cannot be served with racism floating throughout the air, racism
pollutes the verdict.First off, wasted time is a wasted effort and time is something
that can t be received back.Juveniles are humans and have minds, actions, and
feelings like every human being, it has to be kept in mind that control can t be
kept over everyone. Think about owning a restaurant, logically an owner won t
want to remain open in business if work is slow, get very little customers, receive
bad reviews, use tools in an unsafe manner endangering people around you. Well I

College, one of the first and most important milestones individuals achieve. Many
students strive to make excellent grades, excel in varsity sports, and get involved in
extracurricular activities, solely to stand out from the crowd. Every determining
factor in college admissions is up to the individual, except for one, race. A vast
amount of students find this factor controversial. Colleges are accepting and denying
students admission based on a factor that students have no control over. This system
of admission has been implemented by the government in 1961. The system was

During my observations and talking to the employees, most of the employees
expressed communications issues within the company. However, I felt the
communications issues were not issues but communication behaviors and
responses to a deeper problem, such as I tell Randy about a problem I have and he

So when asked to take the pro or con of this argument that prospective appointees to
the U.S Supreme Court should publicly divulge their personal philosophies on the

To Kill a Mockingbird was written by Harper Lee in the 1950s. Within her book,
she incorporated many aspects of her own life. For example, she based the court

Though I concede that the reason for the tree to be preserved is because it is a
symbol of the narrator s family tree, I insist the meaning transcends that, the poem
isn t just about how the tree represents family and the narrator s willingness to do
anything to keep it, but about how holding on too tightly to your history, to your
past, can hurt your future.This is a poem about being afraid of change, and about
how holding on too tightly a relic of your past, will come to hurt you in the long run.
The tree is cast in multiple negative connotations, especially through the first fifteen
