Regional Office located in Vincennes Indiana. Over the weekend of August 29th, 2015 my family
and I visited the George Rogers Clark Museum. My wife and I actually live very close to
Vincennes Indiana, as it is only a 25 minute drive and we frequently visit Vincennes for shopping
and dining. While we do visit this town about once a month, I do admit that I have never been or
paid a lot of attention to the memorial. The memorial itself is quite interesting to look at from afar

Texting causes people to rely on spell check/auto correct and actual verbal communication has

Cursive is a neat way to write letters and other things.It looks better then regular hand

The Good Guy Or The Hero
It also seems that in these stories, the good guy or the hero is not distinctly judged by others for
disrespecting women and are often, despite multiple transgressions against the female race, still
pitched as good characters. This goes back to the point that we discussed with the Conan the
Cimmerian readings, where the lines between good and evil are sort of blurred. We have a
character who is a thief, and who makes part of his living by stealing wenches, and yet somehow
he is still not portrayed as the villain in this story. This is common in pulp fiction, where we have a

I view this whole thing as extremely and almost unforgivingly sexist. We had before discussed the
fact that this book featured sexist undertones during our class discussion when we surmised that
Alice Clayton must have died from her own feebleness and weakness. However, after reading
further I am absolutely appalled, and these references as to how incompetent women are have
become more prevalent and are no longer merely undertones of the story. As a womanmyself, I
know it to be completely inaccurate that whenever a woman is faced with a dangerous or life
threatening situation, she faints as if her fragile heart is unable to cope with the situation. We also,
through reviewing history, know this to not be true with such brave female warriors such as Joan of
Arc, who, to my knowledge never fell hopelessly and fearfully to the ground during mortal
combat. However, in the scene where Jane and Esmerelda are attacked by a lioness in the cabin
on the beach, (A scene in the book which for some reason angered and offended me greatly as a
woman, more so than I would have expected) both women faint out of fear instead of being able to
logically reason through a dangerous situation as the male characters in the book
