Photosynthesis is the process in which plants use sunlight to create energy. Sunlight gets absorbed
into chlorophyll in the plant cells which then convert the light to energy. That energy helps with the
process of hydrolysis in breaking CO2 and water down. Through this breaking up, oxygen and
glucose are created. Photosynthesishas total of six stages, but those are broken up into two main
stages. The first stage is a light dependent reaction, which is when the energy from the sunlight is
taken and then converted by the chlorophyll molecules into stored energy. This reaction takes place
in the thylakoid membranes in the granum within the chloroplast ( Light Dependent ). In this
reaction, there is a transfer of electrons from water to CO2 which begins the creation of the
