Introduction
Albert DeSalvo, more commonly known as The Boston Strangler, was born on
September 3, 1931 and died on November 25, 1973 due to a tragic stabbing while in
prison. The reasoning behind DeSalvo s placement in prison were the heinous acts he
had conducted in which he raped over 300 women (The Boston Strangler, (n.d)).
However, this was not DeSalvo s first run around in prison. Years prior to the
imprisonment of DeSalvo, he had been imprisoned for breaking and entering into a
house During his second imprisonment, DeSalvo admitted to committing a series of

of the killing of 13 women, ages ranging from 19 to 85, in the Boston area. Due to
the extent and absurdity of DeSalvo s crimes, an investigation was lead into his
health to determine if something there was something psychologically altered about
DeSalvo. It was later found that DeSalvo was a paranoid schizophrenic. However, in
order to trigger these behaviors, something must have psychologically deepened his
urge to kill.
DeSalvo s Crimes
DeSalvo did not kill because he had to or because he thought it was right, he killed
because he had the urge to and was pressured by fellow members of his gang. One
could define DeSalvo as a psychopath from the acts he conducted in which he killed
13 women over the span of about one and a half years. It is thought that DeSalvo
knew it was wrong to kill, he just didn t care and was more worried about being
accepted by his gang. The distinction of DeSalvos murders to others at the time was
the way in which he conducted them. DeSalvo began with the sequence of murders
with women of younger age and then progressed about halfway through the
murdering older women. The most distinct feature of DeSalvo s murders was his
preference in sexually assaulting his victims before strangling them to death. Despite
the courts having the knowledge that DeSalvo conducted the series of murders, he

The Production of Sludge
Sludge could be produce in many ways, it can be from waste settlement to the dry
process. Brick is one of the flexible product that gain attention from researcher to be
incorporated with different type of sludge material such as waste water sludge, water
treatment sludge, marble sludge, effluent treatment plants (textile industry) sludgeand
arsenic contaminated sludge.
2.1Textile sludge
Jahagirdar et al (2013) discussed the reuse of textile mill sludge in burnt clay
bricks. Textile mill sludge was mixed together with different proportion (5% to
35%) as the raw material in this study. The brick was fired at 600 to 800ВєC and for
8, 16 and 24hours. Base on the result textile sludge can be added up to 15% as it
gives compressive strength above 3.5N/mm2 and the water absorption ratio is less
than 20%.
According to (Herek et al, 2012) investigated on incorporated the textile laundry

I.EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Nationwide, the Food Truck industry has rocketed, with Miami being the second
place city with largest food truck scene. We plan on developing application which
lets users connect to to their favorite local food trucks, and have the ability to
track, locate the nearest, place an order and share reviews, and pictures through
their social media. We noticed there was a lack of apps with these features in the
market; as of now, only one application is available on the market, which has a very
limited selection of 15 of the 300+ food trucks.
The first step taken was measuring the interest of the market for such an app. We
published an online survey to substantiate whether our idea was appealing to our
market segmentation, which is both, men and women, from 18 to 65 years old with
an interest in street food and residing in the Miami area. The results of this survey
was encouraging.
Second, we had to find out what features we would include in this application.
Through another online survey and a focus group, we weighed and reflected on the
responses gathered and came to the following conclusion: Consumers want a simple,
instinctive mobile app that allows them to track, see reviews and pictures, order, and
pay.
