persuasive appeals which are Logos, Pathos, and Ethos. Although the article was great at the end
she added things that weren t needed and seemed to just be there as filler. To set up the stage for
her credibility she tells a short story of the person who she gets most of her information from.
The person s name is Charles Moore he was a boat captain who decided to take a different route
that he usually takes, and he found a huge area of circling garbage in the ocean and this led to
him changing occupations and creating Marine Research Foundation. She further explains his
credentials and those who work for his foundations credibility. Her extensive explanation of
Moore and what people who work for him is an effective form of Ethos. Although the beginning
may seem long and stretched out longer than it had to be its not, she had to approach this topic
this way because she is an accomplished writer but not in this field so she with this specific

Logos back to back when she tells us how seeing dead birds wash ashore is more prevalent than

Throughout our Business Management course I have learned an abundant amount of relevant

technically not made by the same people, these two films share many characters, including the

say about both the craft of film and the time that they came from? By examining the characters
portrayals and the differences within, one sees that the historical accuracy provides a basis for

lack thereof) is often the first criticism against Hollywood period pieces. Yet, for the characters
in these films, the historical sources themselves must be taken with a grain of salt in terms of
