My Classroom As A Classroom Essay
I will organize my classroom as displayed in the diagram above. I will have an
instructional loop so that I will be able to access all of my students easily. In my
classroom, I will have a collaborative table so that I will be able to work with a
group of students at a time while others are working at their chairs. There will be
room in front of the smart board so that students will be able to stand up and move
around to use that instructional tool while I am educating them. As a class, the
circle time area will be used daily. Where the student cubbies are, I will also have
center items in the top cubbies that the students can take to their desk to work on

The Death Cure has been initially published in 2013. The morals of this book is
society, and how it could be so corrupt from poor judgements. The Death Cure is
very similar to how a dystopian society would be like. It shows how bad society
could be like in the future. In this case, WICKED, a scientific government, using
experiments to test kids in a cruel way of what their abilities are, is where it shows
how governments can be cruel and selfish even if their job is to try and protect the
country.

When I first browsed through the different topics on which we were to write
essays on, I was ecstatic when I saw one about rock and roll. Once I started
skimming through all the bands and artists I know and love, I knew there would be
no problem writing this essay. I firmly believe that I was born in the wrong

smokers, there are still individuals who would try smoking especially the young

I often think about going to school for orthodontics after I graduate from dental

Three years ago, my family adopted a dog. I ending up being the one who was
most reluctant to making the final decision and still was even after he had entered
our family. I was the one who thought of all the negatives for we don t need a dog
incorporated into our busy lives. For the first few weeks I did not like this dog,
and the dog new it. Over time, I started to relate and bond with this dog. I saw how
he was different, he did not act like a normal dog of his breed, different from the
rest. I find the same thing in myself in my family, not like the others, but were both

than any of my other family members are with him. In the novel The Golden
Compass, the author Philip Pullmandevelops a similar type of relationship for each

to develop daemons of my own for the next book in his series. After a few days of

Often in life, tragedies that occur have a lot to do with the bad timing of events. In
William Shakespeare s play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, two teenagers who
live in the beautiful city of Verona, Italy fall madly in love at first sight. The problem
with this is that their families, the Montagues and the Capulets, have been feuding for
centuries. After a secret marriage, the two lovers are separated because of the actions
of their families. The play tragically ends with the married couple committing suicide
because of imperfect timing and confusion. Throughout this play, timing continuously

The Separation of powers refers to the idea that the major institutions of state should
be functionally independent and that no individual should have powers that span
these offices. The principal institutions are usually taken to be the executive, the
legislature and the judiciary. Therefore, the organs of state as described by
Montesquieu should operate separately order to successfully implement law and
order to the UK.
Comparing both the US and UK constitution, there are some very obvious differences.
For example, the US has a written constitution whereas the UK has constitutional
provisions scattered across various statutes . The UK constitution has a lack of
separation compared to the US however, this operates under a presidential power but
it is still appreciated that the UK present some separation between the three bodies
that operate the country.
So what are the major institutions and what do they aim to achieve? The legislature
is Parliament, the supreme law making body and democratic leaders of the UK. The
legislature reign sovereign over the UK as they are not bound by successors nor
predecessors and have full control with regards to the creation of statute and the
repeal of statutes in existence. The executive is most commonly known as the
Government, thus formulating Government policies and executing them alike. The
judiciary are the enforcers of the law which is made by the legislature and also to
adapt and interpret laws is order to avoid absurdity

Analysis Of The Kings Of Summer
Two components that have an immense impact on the quality and caliber of a film
are the editing and sound found within the film. These two aspects alone can make or
break a film. In the film The Kings of Summer, directed by Jordan Vogt Roberts, these
two elements collaborate to highlight certain emotions and key moments in the films
plot. Some of the sub elements of these two components that can easily be identified
within the film include the flashforward, the flashback, both nondiegetic and diegetic
sound, semi diegetic sound, graphic matching and voice offs. Within the film The
Kings Of Summer, editing and sound are methodically and tactfully utilized in
order to produce a film that is both entertaining and meaningful for the audience.
Two of the most prominent aspects of editing that can be identified within this
film are the flashforward and the flashback. At the commencement of the film, a
flashforward is employed. It shows drums being played in a forest by the three
characters that were yet to be introduced to the audience. Then the scene quickly
cuts to the main character, Joe, in the shower at his house. This flashforward is
used in order to provide the audience with an idea of what is to come in the not so
distant future of the film. Another flashforward is utilized when Joe, Patrick, and
Biaggio are living in the forest. This flashforward shows Joe and the female lead,
Kelly, in the woods. It portrays the two in a romantic light, and includes a
confession from Kelly that she wants to stay and live in the forest with Joe. This
flashforward, unlike the previous example, does not come true. However, it is used
to portray the deep emotions of Joe, and his longing for female companionship.
These emotions become relevant when Kelly falls for Joe s friend Patrick instead of
him. During the conclusion of the film, a flashback is employed so the audience can
relive the previous events that occurred within the film. When Biaggio is in the
hospital, a flashback reminds the audience of when Joe and Patrick first entered the
forest, at the onset of their adventure. This flashback brings the audience back to a

this. While the Confederacy lost the war on the battlefield, a failure to exam the
social and political climate before the first shot fired on Fort Sumter and the furling

The process of defining what kind of Civil War historian that you are is a fluid
process that needs to reevaluated as you become exposed to more information. The
first book we read this semester was Paul Quigley s Shifting Grounds: Nationalism
and the American South, 1848 1865. Quigley s work focuses primarily on the
formation of Southern nationalism during the complex years before secession and
Fort Sumter. Only the final chapters examines the years 1861 1865. I appreciated
Quigley s framing of Southern nationalism within an international context. This goes
against the southern exceptionalism trend that tends to permeates any study of the
American South. Quigley s assertion the nationalism was a cause rather than an
effect of succession is correct in my estimation. However, if the book is going to
be considered a work about the Civil War, more than one chapter of it should deal
with the ebb and flow of nationalism during the war itself. As a historian, I feel that
establishing the origins of Confederate nationalism is an important part of
understanding the Confederate war effort on the battlefield and on the home front,
but as a historian, I d like to see it evaluated more thoroughly during the War itself
