On September 6th, 2017, I saw the play 1984 by George Orwell at The
Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville. The play was about how the main character
Winston, who s portrayed by Niail McGinty, goes on a journey to rebel against the
party in control of his country, the Inner Party, and he runs into somebody he
believes is an ally to him, O Brien, who is portrayed by V Craig Heidenreich, but he
is really a part of the Inner Party. They eventually convince Winston to believe in the

think McGinity s actingwas better. Heidenreich was very effective at portraying

Jerry continued his demanding work schedule for the next few years until he was
able to retire at the age of 38. When he retired he had been in the military for nearly
20 years and was more than ready to spend a lot of time at home. I asked how his
transition into retirement was and he said it was absolutely great. He said that from
the time he was married until he retired he put as much money as possible into his
retirement, which meant he, Mae, and the children lived of the bare minimum for a

Cahokia is arguably one of the most influential cities in its time. Although there is
little known about Cahokia, aspects of their culture (like games, artifacts, and
religious aspects) can be found throughout the Americas. If so much of the area had
not been bulldozed before being excavated, we may have known more about the area.
Cahokiahad such an impact during its time, traces of Cahokia can be found in other
