and the Universal Postal Union (UPU), which were both established more than one and a half
centuries ago, providing a common technical standard among states (Rourke, 137). In the past
century, more sophisticated forms of international governance in political economy evolved. For

1.Slavery is an institution that repetitively separates family members and close friends from each
other, without any regard to those people. This aids in disrupting the heteronormative nuclear

The topic of this report is an analysis of a Shopper s Drug Mart queuing system. At Shoppers
Drug Mart, there are multiple places where queues are formed; regular check out line, beauty

In celebration of Mount Alvernia s 60th Anniversary, the Mount Alvernia Parents and Friends
Support Network intend to host a function. Functions are advantageous to the local economy as
they generate visitor spending, thus more income and employment possibilities (Department of
State and Regional Development, 2014). Furthermore, events provide a platform for social
interaction, which would ultimately strengthen the MountAlvernia community. In addition, an
anniversary celebration is an opportunity to market the school as successful and sustainable

Tuite s plans for the future of the college. The second objective is to break even; which can be
measured by the calculation of cost and profit. This objective ensures the college does not bear a
debt and honours the Franciscan value simplicity. The third objective is o acknowledge the initial
ten students and three teaching sisters, as they were unfortunately unrecognised t the previous 50th
anniversary celebrations. A featured Roll Call ensures the third objective will be attained.
Furthermore, goal four is to increase attendance. Hence, the P F recommend the inclusion of a
registry for it allows us to compare the attendance of the 60th anniversary celebration to that of the
50th event. As a final point, objective five is to eliminate neighbourhood disturbance. This can be
measured by complaints from locals concerning the event.
The Mount Alvernia Parents and Friends Support Network has conducted a survey regarding the
scope of the event. It is important the survey feedback dictates the planning of the event to
maximise attendance. Therefore, the survey was sent to 43 members of the target market.
A garden party was voted the ideal event by 56% of surveyed students. The garden party fits the
purpose of the function as the Missionary Franciscan Sisters traditionally held afternoon tea in the
