manuring vs. green manuring of three different lupin cultivars for boosting soil nitrogen reserves
for the following crop. Fertiliser input costs continue to escalate as a result of market demand and
coupled with the increasing herbicide resistant issues; producers are turning to the increasingly
popular tool of manuring crops in an attempt to manage the two different problems in today s
farming systems. We chose to assess three lupin cultivars relevant to Western Australian cropping
systems; Belara (Lupinus angustofolius), Albus (Lupinus albus) and Andromeda (Lupinus albus)....
Brown manuring is becoming more common and is the no till form of green manuring, the option
to use a nonselective herbicide to spray out the crop and the weeds at flowering instead of
cultivation (Peltzer 2014) (Patterson et al. 2013). The option to double knock weeds provides good
weed kill, whilst standing residues help maintain soil structure and reduce moisture loss (Peltzer
2014) (Patterson 2012).
Methods
Prior to sowing the trial area was fertilised on the 14th of May with the product, Nitrphoska
Perfect at 350kg/ha with a package consisting of:
N(15):P(2.2):K(16.6):S(8.1):Mg(1.2):Ca(8)+Trace Super Phosphate at 220kg/ha P(9.1): S(10.5):
Ca(20). The total nutrients of the soil: N (53)*: P (27.7): K (58): S (31): Mg (4.2): Ca (50.3) +
Trace had enough available nitrogen to feed the equivalent of a two tonne wheat crop yield.
Lupins cultivars were planted at twelve inch spacing s on the 11th of June. Trial design allowed
for a buffer at either end of the plots to not affect the trial itself. For each of the three cultivars the
treatments were randomised and were replicated to increase reliability of results (view figure 1).

Beats per minute; in that row it ask what my beats per minute was, gives if it is over a hundred
then its Tachycardia and if it is below sixty it is bradycardia and then ask if it was normal or not.
My beats per minute were a hundred and fifty so it is considered Tachycardia. The next row
shows PR interval, mine was .12 but the normal is 0.16 0.18 sec so no my PR interval is not in
the norm. Following that is the QRS complex it consisted of mine being .08 which was normal
for a QRS complex. The last test was the QT interval; again my numbers feel short. Mine was 0.2

Now that the experiment has been tested, the results are in there comes the analysis part of the
process. After I had determined my calculation I saw where my beats per minute were over a
hundred; this consider me to be Tachycardia. Tachycardia refers to an abnormally fast resting heart
rate. When examining what Tachycardia was and how it can be affected made me see that different

Trump s New Tax Law Only Benefits the Rich
The new Republican tax bill Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, one of the biggest tax bill in decades, officially
took effect in 2018. The bill will supposedly cut corporate and individual taxes by cutting income
taxes, doubling the standard deduction, and eliminating personal exemptions. Trump promoted the
bill, claiming that it would benefit the middle class Americans. However, new analysis by the Tax
Policy Center shows that only the wealthy will benefit, as the major change is that corporate tax
rate dropped from 35% to 21%, while the poor will pay more taxes unlike Trump s proposal.

However, there are hidden downsides to the benefits. First, income tax rates and standard
deductions are only affected until 2025. Also, analysis discovered that low income families,
especially large families with multiple children or single parent households, would not benefit
from the Act. In fact, they will be forced to pay more taxes due to the elimination of personal
exemptions. For example, a married or joint couple with two children would have benefited a total
of about $26,000 in 2017 with both standard deduction and personal exemptions. With the new
changes, the same family will only benefit $24,000 from the standard deductions and lose out on
$2,000. In general, families will be hurt from the changes while individuals will benefit. The
situation is even worse for single parent families due to the significantly lower standard deduction
for single filers when compared to married or joint filers.
Although the changes above will be impactful, there are still greater changes in the bill. The
biggest changes of the Act are on corporate taxes, with many of these changes being beneficial
for the corporates. First, corporate tax rates dropped from 35% to 21%, a major drop and possible
profit for large corporations and its rich owners. The new tax rate, the lowest since 1939, could
