Ugh! No! that was my first reaction when my mom told me that I had to ride a
plane alone. 13 hours! How am I supposed to endure that long time, by myself? Is

This experiment uses an Alka Seltzer tablet. Alka Seltzer dissolves in water and is
an antacid and a pain reliever1. The Alka Seltzer tablet has many uses such as relief
of headaches, ingestion, heart burns, or even upset stomachs2. The active ingredients
in an Alka Seltzer tablet is aspirin, also known as acetyl salicylic acid (C8H12O4),
citric acid (C6H8O7), and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3)2. The aspirin in the Alka
Seltzer tablet helps with pain relief. Because of the acid base chemistry (BrГёnsted
Lowry), citric acid and sodium bicarbonate produce O2, which makes the tablet fizz

Lowry acid donates a hydrogen ion while the BrГёnsted Lowry base accepts the

Graphic design is everywhere; it is a way of communicating through the use of type,
space and image. Graphic designers use numerous methods to create and combine
words, symbols, and images, which creates a visual representation of ideas and
messages. A graphic designer may use a combination of typography, visual arts and
page layout techniques to produce a final result. William Morris and Joost Schmidt
have both used these techniques to produce astonishing pieces of graphic design,
which are going to be compared and contrasted throughout this essay. The 1923
