850,000 men and 150,000 vehicles in Normandy. After continuing their march across France, the
allies reached Seine river. As a result of the battle, the Germans were removed from
Northwestern France and they concluded the battle of Normandy. Even though the Battle of
Normandy was over, it left great effects on the rest of the world and history, the allies had made
their way throughout Germany while also pushing the rest out. Shortly after reaching Seine river,
the Allies prepare to enter Germany to meet up with the soviet troops whom of which were

The government, knowing very little about people and hardly any evidence would take anyone
they thought was suspicious of anything odd for questioning and if they were suspected of
homosexuality they would be fired right away. The government thought people who were gay
were disloyal to the United States and made it so gay and lesbian people were without jobs in the
state departments, which later started the Gay Rights Movement and till this day is still a very

The Treatment of Women and LGBT+ Community Members Women and the LGBT+ community
members are continuing to feel uncomfortable and not valued in this chosen occupation, as they
continue to be challenged in unfair ways and are judged for more than being different. For this
reason, RCMP officers are denied the chance to advance their careers, or take on a more superior
/leadership role; bringing us right back to the glass ceiling effect. Not all places have women in
non superior roles; there are many places where they precede the men. This is why liberal feminism
allows and encourages individuals to use their own abilities, and the democratic process to help
women and men become more equal, including equal treatment and rights; not only in the eyes of

To demonstrate, I had the privilege of going to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police depot back in
2015; this is where the cadets do their training because I had a male family member graduate,
officially becoming an RCMP officer. I had the chance to view the facility and almost everything
it entails, I saw the different cadets there, women and men, and this is where I noticed how in each
