foreground of each usually appeared to be very small and limited in space while I
found that many of the background spaces were filled with some type of pattern. This
folio is a perfect representation of this style that the Limbourg Brothers implemented
in their manuscript work which I kept in mind to include as I did my own recreation
of the folio.
The materials that the Limbourg Brothers used in creating this folio were ink,
tempera, and gold leaf on vellum. I substituted a few of these materials in the
making of my own. Instead of vellum, I used calligraphic parchment paper, which I

June Cline is the president of The Center for Laughing and Learning. She arrived on
time to speak but encountered technical difficulties prior to speaking to our class.

what is humor. This stems from people having different humor styles. A caustic
humor style can be harsh and sarcastic, while a cerebral style can be dry and

silly, ridiculous, and shocking things are hilarious, while people with a caring
humor style enjoy funny things that are wholesome, harmless, and positive. Mrs.
Cline also suggested that it is best to practice a style of humor that caters to a
combination of all four humor styles. This way, it is easier to practice humor with
different audiences. Mrs. Cline also advised the class to always be prepared to tackle

BookDeserts as an area where children and parents lack access to quality books.
Literary deserts occur due to lack of readingmaterials and because of a growing loss
of interest in reading. Literary deserts are prevalent in low income and urban
neighborhoods where both children and adults have little to no access to quality

or state of being literate with literate, defined as the ability to read and write. While

after a trial. The criminal procedure is based on the constitutional laws, statues, and

initial investigation of an individual suspected of a crime, through the arrest, jailing,
arraignment, and thereafter. Although they must act within the boundaries of the

police officers are allowed to conduct investigations, perform search and seizures,
and arrest individuals that are suspected of a crime. Police officers do not need
justification to stop someone and question them, but in order to search an
individual a police officer must have probable cause. In order to make an arrest,
the officer must either observe an individual committing a crime, have probable
cause that a crime has been committed by that person, or have a valid arrest
warrant. There is no scale to measure what probable cause is, so at the time of

earn everything they have and, no matter where they start, as long as they work

The opinion of metaframeworks is that each individual has multiple subpersonalities
