I am writing this journal with the goal of recounting my travels to different philosophical societies.
Remarkably, each one of the three societies I was privileged enough to travel to r igidly followed a
renowned philosophy. These were the philosophies of Plato, Soren Kierkegaard, and Friedrich
Nietzsche.
The Republic
The first society I visited was that of Plato
s philosophy. The residents were very kind and sought out true meanings of different vi rtues solely
by dialectic. They structured their city much the same way that
Plato structured the renowned

. Plato said that a just city would involve each man doing his own work, or specializing in a certain
task. The cobbler would be a cobbler, the builder would be a builder, the farmer a farmer, and so on
an d so forth. Each of these focused on his work and in such a way maximized outpu t, as is
logical. The army protecting that city stood as a c ourageous wall around it, ready to defend it
whenever necessary. The soldiers

These books show both similarities and differences in the books of the Bible. The Gospels include
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each book contains the crucifixion of Jesus, but from different

nationalities. This book has served its purpose and is speaking to families, friends, wives, husbands,
and children on being aware and conscious of the reality that surrounds them. This novel amazed

Weakness Once governments saw the potential for victory for its political gain, the chaplaincy
began to weaken and divide. For example, the War in England as written in pamphlets described the
role of the chaplain during that time. Their job in this role was to sustain men who had to face
their neighbors in a war over political and religious differences. [3] Some chaplains were used to
control the spread of heterodox religious views, while others left the military in pursuit of doing
what is right, and preaching the true message of God. This departure from the military added to
the weakness of the chaplaincy. Another weakness, chaplains were wrongly accused or labeled as
evil, when it fact, laymen were the culprits. It was laymen such as Henry Denne and Paul Hobson
who gave the army a reputation for radical sectarianism; the further association of religious radicals
with the chaplains was almost entirely independent of the chaplains themselves[4].
Opportunities
Valuable lessons learned about chaplains during this given time period is that the need to administer
God in truth to all people provided a means of opportunity for the chaplaincy. When shortages of
chaplains occurred, governments selected priests with no military affiliation. And for chaplains
who stayed behind in their parishes, governments imposed special instructions as well. For

As shown throughout the course of history, the empires of rulers who embraced the concept of
religious tolerance almost always experience a prolonged period of peace and growth. The
Ottoman Empire under the leadership of Osman advocates for a policy of religious tolerance
and benefits from a period of rapid territorial growth and a highly disciplined military comprised
of cavalry and janissaries (#). The Yuan Empire under the Mongols is well known for
exemplifying a high religious tolerance towards its diverse populations ranging throughout most of
Asia and into Eastern Europe (#). The Chinese from the late Ming Dynasty are introduced to the
latest European science and technology through various cultural exchanges with Christian
missionaries that are made possible because of the religious tolerance policy (@). As shown
above, religious toleration fosters cultural exchange of trading goods, ideologies, and science
technologies. It also allows for the diversification of religion as a source of accommodation for the
heterogeneous populations within an empire. Forced religious unity not only introduces chaos,
such as religious persecutions, to an empire, but also placing it at risk for economic and political

The person who carries more than 10 (old notes (whatever the denomination) shall be punished
with fine of INR 10000 or five times of the face value of the amount which he possess, whichever

My Day On A Summer Day
It was around 7 in the morning on a summer day in July. When my mother awakened me with
extreme excitement in her voice. Get up were leaving in 2 hours, pack warm clothes and
everything you need to look fantastic. Trying to comprehend what she was saying to me i rolled
out of bed and trudged to the bathroom. The thought of what could possibly be going on kept
