Essay On Classification Of Stars
Glance upward on a clear, unlit night and one of the most majestic sights available to us on this
Earth reveals itself. Splattered across the asphalt sky, millions nay, billions of white droplets hang as
if suspended by the night. Throughout human history, these seemingly infinitely small points of
light enthralled children and adults alike due to their usefulness in navigation, their connect the dot
ability, and their mystery. Who put them there? Why are they there? Questions like these plagued
philosophers for hundreds of years. Finally, around 1590, Giordano Bruno came to a conclusion
that shook the world of Astronomy. He suggested that the sunjoin the same category of celestial
objects as the millions of bright specks visible in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also like cars, a much larger star burns more fuel than a smaller star. This difference in fuel
efficiency forms the basis for how stars receive categorization. In the eco friendly section of the
star dealership, one may find the most humble of all celestial objects: The red dwarf. As the
name implies, they usually only possess half the size of our sun or less. The red dwarf s small
size and lack of resources in its creation places it firmly as the most common star in the universe;
though, their lack of size hides from the naked eye. Despite this shortcoming, red dwarfs possess
one advantage over their larger and brighter counterparts: Life expectancy. Of course, these
monstrous spheres of ignited hydrogen possess no life, but scientists consider them alive until
they run out of fuel and burn out, and red dwarfs take a long time to burn out. In fact, in the
Universe s 13 billion year long existence, every red dwarf to ever form remains burning to this
day. This longevity, combined with their abundance, makes a planet in a red dwarf star system the
perfect candidate for the first interstellar colony; so despite their relatively quiet existence, these
little guys potentially hold the future of humanity. Want more power than one of those red dwarfs
could ever provide? Look no further than the Blue Giant. These monsters range from twenty five to
one hundred times the size of our sun. Unlike the relatively cool (3,500 degrees celsius) red dwarfs,
blue giants burn

The Importance Of Criminal Punishment
Criminal punishments have been a fragment of society for centuries, either to discipline individuals
or overpower political opposition. Different eras over time established numerous forms of
punishments for crimes. There is no morality or exceptional guarantee that punishment is a
substantial process of humane penalty besides political officials that believe that it is feasible. In
my opinion, punishmentis not a proper method of crimecontrol, however, some sanctions should be
attainable in current day living. Courtroom officials portray punishments as desirable methods of
crime control to distort community citizens perception, so they may trust that crimes are
decreasing. Criminal punishments are solely based on rehabilitation, criminal analysis, and
deterrence. Numerous theories of punishment have become inhumane because sometimes
individuals have been incarcerated for years for crimes that weren t even harsh.
Deterrence is designed to prevent reoccurring crime. Criminal justice is the study of nature, causes,
control, and prevention of criminal behavior, with the extent of individual and social factors. For
example, if a criminal has been burglarizing homes and only spends a short amount of time in jail,
then the judge requires for a higher sentence and now the criminal must think if they re freedom is
worth materialistic things. In 1910, Edmond Locard began his own crime laboratory and could
obtain location accompanied by two assistants in the making of

A Human Shadow s Form
A human shadow, in its most basic form, requires three things: exposure to a light source, a
person, and a surface to cast the shadow onto. A shadow s form is entirely dependent on the
person creating the shadow, and its light source; it can move, shrink, stretch, and stay still, based
off of those movements made by its creator and the respective position of the light. But what is a
shadow that does not have a creator, or person, blocking the light beams from reaching the desired
surface? And how does one s perception of a shadow change when viewing a shadow of this type?
On the morning August 6th, 1945, the thermal radiation emitted from the nuclear bomb Little Boy
ripped through the city of Hiroshima, immediately killing approximately

Ray Bradbury s The Flying Machine
A man is killed for what he has made, a machine the could possibly ruin china. This is exactly
what what happen in the story flying machine. In the story The Flying Machine by Ray
Bradbury is story of a man that makes a machine that allows him the fly. The emperor see the
machine made out of bamboo and paper. he looks at the great wall of china and calls the man
down. The emperor calls for the man s execution in fear of another country taking the machine
and using it against. He kills the man then burn the machine so no other man can use the machine
made out of bamboo and paper. In the Story The Wise Old Woman by Yoshiko Uchida is about a
young lord who banishes people over the age of 71 and they re taken to mountains. The farmer who

The old woman is loving because she is always thinking of her son even before he death. The
woman was being taken into the mountains for death, she was breaking branches to let the son
know where to return too. The woman s done says Even now you re thinking of me (Bradbury
204). She is loving because she knows she going to her death but wants her son to know where
to go on the way back him so doesn t get lost. She never once thought about saving herself. The
woman is loving because she is always caring about her son. Emperor Yuan is very wise because
when he saw the flying machine he instantly thought of his people because with that machine
people could fly over the wall. The Emperor calls for his execution and kills him. The similarities
between the old wise woman and the emperor is that they re both wise. the emperor kills the man
the save the empire. The woman solves these impossible tasks with her wisdom. The both
similar because they used wisdom to solve their problems. The differences between the old
woman and the emperor is that the old woman is more loving the emperor were the emperor is
more wise. They are different because the old woman loves her son so much that she still breaks
branches to let the son now were the emperor would not. The old woman and the emperor are
both different but similar in the personalities. The stories The Flying Machine And The Wise
Old Woman are both similar but different in theme. The theme for the two stories are be careful
what one does. The Wise Old Woman explains this theme because the young lord outlawed
people over 71. So when he needs the riddles to be solved, the only one who could solve it was
the Old woman who was hiding. The Lord realized his mistakes and repeals the law. This connects
to the theme because lord higa was not careful and ended up needing the old wise woman to solve
the riddles. The Flying machine

Two Differences Of Disneyland And Walt Disney World
Although Disneyland and Walt Disney World (WDW) are Walt Disney s ideas being portrayed,
the two parks have quite a few differences along with a vast amount of similarities. For example,
Disney World is comprised of four parks, whereas Disneyland is only made up of two. Disneyland
cut the ceremonial ribbon in 1955 and is located in Anaheim, California. It included features such as
Sleeping Beauty Castle, eighteen attractions, one resort hotel, and a monorail system. On the other
hand, Walt DisneyWorld, located in Orlando, Florida, opened its doors in 1971. It featured
Cinderella Castle, fifteen attractions, and two resort hotels when it initially opened. Some
similarities between the two are that they allow you to participate in the Disney College
Program, both are Walt Disney s dreams coming to life, the entertainment of the guests, and pin
trading. In contrast, the two parks have different amounts and varieties of parks, hotels,
restaurants, fastpasses, and entertainment. When Disneyland opened, it rested on an 85 acre
property and only had about eighteen attractions. However, some of the rides featured on
opening day are the most iconic ones still running in both locations. On the first day they opened
the doors, thousands of people began rushing into the parks to see Walt Disney s dreams become
a reality. Upon walking in, guests were overwhelmed with all the magic come to life. Sleeping
Beauty Castle towers over the entrance of the park at seventy feet high; however it does seem to
be bigger due to the architecture they used. They used bigger blocks on the bottom and as the
builders got higher and higher, smaller bricks were used. Here one will find shops carrying
merchandise like shirts, candy, backpacks, purses, stuffed animals, and the iconic Mickey/Minnie
Mouse ears. Both sites feature exquisite architecture when it pertains to the way, the castles were
built to appear bigger. In comparison of both sites, Main Street is the road that starts at the
beginning of the park and stretches to the castle. Disneyland is divided up into four different
themes, a few of them being Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland. Each section has
rides that go along with the theme. For example, Tomorrowland is home

Personal Reflection Essay
As the first five weeks of Writing 39B have passed, I believe that I have made some improvements
in my writing as a result of the feedback from the professor, the multiple writing assignments, and
reading the Anteater s Guide to Writing and Rhetoric. Although I can still improve in all facets of
my writing, the progress I have made so far was very much needed. One of the stages of my
development took place in class. Although I was a bit reluctant and shy to participate at times in
class, I learned a lot. The way the professor analyzed the 9/11 conspiracy video and some of the
chapters in the The United States of Paranoia taught me how to see the author s purpose in
creating the text and how the author appealed to the audience by presenting the text in different
mediums. The mini group work done almost daily in class also helped me think more analytically
about each text, which helped me writing my final RA. One of the class works was analyzing the
opening paragraph of The Metamorphis by Franz Kafka. This task allowed me to see how the
author s word choice can change the complete tone of the text and how the audience reacts
differently to each type of tone. At the times in which I did participate, I felt that I contributed
valuable information as the professor would usually expand on my comment in a positive way. In
addition, participating also allowed me to feel confident about my ideas and thoughtprocess which
enabled me to feel confident writing my assignments. From the very first RIP assignment, the
feedback I ve received helped in aiding my final RA. Prior to this class, I didn t truly know how
to be specific. Whether this be with a claim or audience, I was describing things broadly. In my
RIP #1, where I had to identify a specific group with a shared interest. The group that I created
was students in high school or college who are obsessed with social media. With the feedback, I
learned that I could ve made it more specific by choosing just high school students not including
college student and only Snapchat, and no other social media platforms. Moving on, a drastic
change in my writing can be seen in the differences between CR #1 and CR #2. In CR #1, I
explain that the author carries a casual yet

The European Convention Of Human Rights
The European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR) can be defined as an international
agreement initiated within the Council of Europe, which was established in 1949 in Strasbourg
in France in order to unify Europe after the Second World War (Harries et al., 2014; O Boyle,
2014). According to Donald et al., (2012), United Kingdom was among the first countries to
adopt and has played an important role in ECHR creation at that time. In 1966, the petition and
jurisdiction of UK s citizens was voluntary and individuals was able to take a case and
jurisdictions to the ECtHR in Strasbourg. Latterly, in 1998 this process become compulsory for
all countries that are members of the (ECHR). Since that time, European countries has become
covered under this agreement as a form of legal system in the unify area. However, it could be
argued that the UK has the least number of cases in the ECtHR in Strasbourg. O Boyle (2014. P.
15) stated that The UK has a very low rate of defeat at Strasbourg. Of the nearly 12,000
applications brought against the UK between 1999 and 2010, the vast majority fell at the first
hurdle . Further they stated that, Only three per cent (390 applications) were declared admissible.
An even smaller proportion of applications 1.8 per cent (215) eventually resulted in a judgment
finding a violation , which in terms means that the UK has lost only 1 out of 50 of the cases that
took place in the UK. Thus, some one could argue and question the extant that this

  • 2. Essay On Classification Of Stars Glance upward on a clear, unlit night and one of the most majestic sights available to us on this Earth reveals itself. Splattered across the asphalt sky, millions nay, billions of white droplets hang as if suspended by the night. Throughout human history, these seemingly infinitely small points of light enthralled children and adults alike due to their usefulness in navigation, their connect the dot ability, and their mystery. Who put them there? Why are they there? Questions like these plagued philosophers for hundreds of years. Finally, around 1590, Giordano Bruno came to a conclusion that shook the world of Astronomy. He suggested that the sunjoin the same category of celestial objects as the millions of bright specks visible in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also like cars, a much larger star burns more fuel than a smaller star. This difference in fuel efficiency forms the basis for how stars receive categorization. In the eco friendly section of the star dealership, one may find the most humble of all celestial objects: The red dwarf. As the name implies, they usually only possess half the size of our sun or less. The red dwarf s small size and lack of resources in its creation places it firmly as the most common star in the universe; though, their lack of size hides from the naked eye. Despite this shortcoming, red dwarfs possess one advantage over their larger and brighter counterparts: Life expectancy. Of course, these monstrous spheres of ignited hydrogen possess no life, but scientists consider them alive until they run out of fuel and burn out, and red dwarfs take a long time to burn out. In fact, in the Universe s 13 billion year long existence, every red dwarf to ever form remains burning to this day. This longevity, combined with their abundance, makes a planet in a red dwarf star system the perfect candidate for the first interstellar colony; so despite their relatively quiet existence, these little guys potentially hold the future of humanity. Want more power than one of those red dwarfs could ever provide? Look no further than the Blue Giant. These monsters range from twenty five to one hundred times the size of our sun. Unlike the relatively cool (3,500 degrees celsius) red dwarfs, blue giants burn ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Importance Of Criminal Punishment Criminal punishments have been a fragment of society for centuries, either to discipline individuals or overpower political opposition. Different eras over time established numerous forms of punishments for crimes. There is no morality or exceptional guarantee that punishment is a substantial process of humane penalty besides political officials that believe that it is feasible. In my opinion, punishmentis not a proper method of crimecontrol, however, some sanctions should be attainable in current day living. Courtroom officials portray punishments as desirable methods of crime control to distort community citizens perception, so they may trust that crimes are decreasing. Criminal punishments are solely based on rehabilitation, criminal analysis, and deterrence. Numerous theories of punishment have become inhumane because sometimes individuals have been incarcerated for years for crimes that weren t even harsh. Deterrence is designed to prevent reoccurring crime. Criminal justice is the study of nature, causes, control, and prevention of criminal behavior, with the extent of individual and social factors. For example, if a criminal has been burglarizing homes and only spends a short amount of time in jail, then the judge requires for a higher sentence and now the criminal must think if they re freedom is worth materialistic things. In 1910, Edmond Locard began his own crime laboratory and could obtain location accompanied by two assistants in the making of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. A Human Shadow s Form A human shadow, in its most basic form, requires three things: exposure to a light source, a person, and a surface to cast the shadow onto. A shadow s form is entirely dependent on the person creating the shadow, and its light source; it can move, shrink, stretch, and stay still, based off of those movements made by its creator and the respective position of the light. But what is a shadow that does not have a creator, or person, blocking the light beams from reaching the desired surface? And how does one s perception of a shadow change when viewing a shadow of this type? On the morning August 6th, 1945, the thermal radiation emitted from the nuclear bomb Little Boy ripped through the city of Hiroshima, immediately killing approximately ... • 6. Two Differences Of Disneyland And Walt Disney World Although Disneyland and Walt Disney World (WDW) are Walt Disney s ideas being portrayed, the two parks have quite a few differences along with a vast amount of similarities. For example, Disney World is comprised of four parks, whereas Disneyland is only made up of two. Disneyland cut the ceremonial ribbon in 1955 and is located in Anaheim, California. It included features such as Sleeping Beauty Castle, eighteen attractions, one resort hotel, and a monorail system. On the other hand, Walt DisneyWorld, located in Orlando, Florida, opened its doors in 1971. It featured Cinderella Castle, fifteen attractions, and two resort hotels when it initially opened. Some similarities between the two are that they allow you to participate in the Disney College Program, both are Walt Disney s dreams coming to life, the entertainment of the guests, and pin trading. In contrast, the two parks have different amounts and varieties of parks, hotels, restaurants, fastpasses, and entertainment. When Disneyland opened, it rested on an 85 acre property and only had about eighteen attractions. However, some of the rides featured on opening day are the most iconic ones still running in both locations. On the first day they opened the doors, thousands of people began rushing into the parks to see Walt Disney s dreams become a reality. Upon walking in, guests were overwhelmed with all the magic come to life. Sleeping Beauty Castle towers over the entrance of the park at seventy feet high; however it does seem to be bigger due to the architecture they used. They used bigger blocks on the bottom and as the builders got higher and higher, smaller bricks were used. Here one will find shops carrying merchandise like shirts, candy, backpacks, purses, stuffed animals, and the iconic Mickey/Minnie Mouse ears. Both sites feature exquisite architecture when it pertains to the way, the castles were built to appear bigger. In comparison of both sites, Main Street is the road that starts at the beginning of the park and stretches to the castle. Disneyland is divided up into four different themes, a few of them being Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland. Each section has rides that go along with the theme. For example, Tomorrowland is home ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Personal Reflection Essay As the first five weeks of Writing 39B have passed, I believe that I have made some improvements in my writing as a result of the feedback from the professor, the multiple writing assignments, and reading the Anteater s Guide to Writing and Rhetoric. Although I can still improve in all facets of my writing, the progress I have made so far was very much needed. One of the stages of my development took place in class. Although I was a bit reluctant and shy to participate at times in class, I learned a lot. The way the professor analyzed the 9/11 conspiracy video and some of the chapters in the The United States of Paranoia taught me how to see the author s purpose in creating the text and how the author appealed to the audience by presenting the text in different mediums. The mini group work done almost daily in class also helped me think more analytically about each text, which helped me writing my final RA. One of the class works was analyzing the opening paragraph of The Metamorphis by Franz Kafka. This task allowed me to see how the author s word choice can change the complete tone of the text and how the audience reacts differently to each type of tone. At the times in which I did participate, I felt that I contributed valuable information as the professor would usually expand on my comment in a positive way. In addition, participating also allowed me to feel confident about my ideas and thoughtprocess which enabled me to feel confident writing my assignments. From the very first RIP assignment, the feedback I ve received helped in aiding my final RA. Prior to this class, I didn t truly know how to be specific. Whether this be with a claim or audience, I was describing things broadly. In my RIP #1, where I had to identify a specific group with a shared interest. The group that I created was students in high school or college who are obsessed with social media. With the feedback, I learned that I could ve made it more specific by choosing just high school students not including college student and only Snapchat, and no other social media platforms. Moving on, a drastic change in my writing can be seen in the differences between CR #1 and CR #2. In CR #1, I explain that the author carries a casual yet ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. The European Convention Of Human Rights The European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR) can be defined as an international agreement initiated within the Council of Europe, which was established in 1949 in Strasbourg in France in order to unify Europe after the Second World War (Harries et al., 2014; O Boyle, 2014). According to Donald et al., (2012), United Kingdom was among the first countries to adopt and has played an important role in ECHR creation at that time. In 1966, the petition and jurisdiction of UK s citizens was voluntary and individuals was able to take a case and jurisdictions to the ECtHR in Strasbourg. Latterly, in 1998 this process become compulsory for all countries that are members of the (ECHR). Since that time, European countries has become covered under this agreement as a form of legal system in the unify area. However, it could be argued that the UK has the least number of cases in the ECtHR in Strasbourg. O Boyle (2014. P. 15) stated that The UK has a very low rate of defeat at Strasbourg. Of the nearly 12,000 applications brought against the UK between 1999 and 2010, the vast majority fell at the first hurdle . Further they stated that, Only three per cent (390 applications) were declared admissible. An even smaller proportion of applications 1.8 per cent (215) eventually resulted in a judgment finding a violation , which in terms means that the UK has lost only 1 out of 50 of the cases that took place in the UK. Thus, some one could argue and question the extant that this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
