The Most Important Aspects Of The Profession Of Cpas
The accounting profession is considered a very important element in the business world and the
economic world. This profession is performed by the certified public accountant (CPA). After
passing the state s exam and meeting the additional experience requirement you will get a CPA
license. Based on the article of CPA Horizons 2025 we are going to identify the four influential
factors in the profession of CPAs, which are: Pre certification and lifelong learning, pride in the
profession, value proposition, and world wide profession.
Introduction
A CPA is a certified public accountantwho is licensed by a state board of accountancy. To earn the

They make their decisions based on financial information certified by CPAs. This profession, and
since its appearance, has not stagnated and has undergone several changes. These changes occurred
mainly after the financial scandals of the 2000s. These changes are primarily the approval of the
Sarbanes Oxley Act.
AICPA issued an examination of the future of the profession and the determining factors of the
future of CPAs. The project examined the trends affecting CPAs in their daily work, enlisted
opinions on how these trends will impact CPAs in the years ahead, and helped to identify actions
the profession could take to meet challenges and leverage opportunities now and in the coming
years. (AICPA)
In this study we will be interested to look at four influential factors in the profession of CPAs
which are: Pre certification and lifelong learning, pride in the profession, value proposition, and
world wide profession.
The four most important themes that I consider are:
1)Pre certification and lifelong Learning:
A CPA has to maintain a dynamic changing of business in matters related to government regulations
and compliance. There are different actions that a CPA can take in order to meet these needs; a
CPA must dedicate time to stay current with regulations, social economics, technology, and political
trends domestically and abroad as well. CPA must cultivate his/her interpersonal skills in order to

ordinary applications because all electric supply companies furnish alternating current. However,
for special applications such as in steel mills, mines and electric trains, it is advantageous to
convert low value of DC into high value of DC in order to use D.C. motors controlled by power
electronic apparatus. Here the DC motor is controlled power electronic converters through RES
system. Although the design of these converters has been presented at the operational level, some
fundamental issues such as topologies, analyses, and control have not been thoroughly studied. In
this paper, the basic HB TL topology is first presented. This is followed by the derivation of a
systematic method of generating TL converter topologies, leading to the derivation of a family of
TL converters with improvement and simplification for better functionality and practicality. This
paper discusses wide range soft switching solutions to a pulse width

Marc Lewis Reflection
Critical Thinking Assignment #3 Since I have been reading the life of Marc Lewis I find myself
always becoming more and more excited about what is going to happen next. So far it has been
filled with ups and down and me trying to predict what will happen next on his journey. While
reading chapter 6 I was so elated that Marc had gotten accepted to college, it seems as though he
actually has a plan for himself and is determined to exceed every goal. But normally good things
don t always last for a time and for some reason I could sense that something was about to
happen. For those of us who were not given the opportunity to have a silver spoon in their mouth
or even those who had the spoon but chose not to use it acquire a different meaning in life.
Growing up I lived in the projects, with drug dealers and snotty nosed kids who only aspiration
when they grew up was to get out of the projects. Thankfully at a young age I was adopted by my
grandparents and just like Marc Lewis a new door opened and I was finally given a chance at
life itself. I truly believe that when people are presented with things that inspire them to do
better or be better then they will change their attitude on everything. They begin to create dreams
of being successful, studious and eventually become so set in their goals that even when things
go bad they choose not to focus on them because of the complete turnaround they just achieved.
Although marc seemed to be doing great I could tell that he didn t want to do the complete
turnaround, I say this because he was still smoking hash, it was evident that it had become apart
of his new lifestyle whether he actually wanted it to or not. He began to put a phosaude, almost
like when you re high around your parents and try to act as normal as possible. He said that the
trick is to balance anxiety and ecstasy and in all honesty I had no clue to what he was trying to
say. The psychedelic drugs caused his thoughts to go from normal thoughts like what he wanted to
eat or buy and would quickly change to his possible enemies such as customers, children and
President Ronald Reagan. Psychedelic drugs cause people to hallucinate and become in and out of
consciousness. I know a few people who have

currently imposed on the Government Budget. The aim of this research is to identify the
outstanding systems financed by capital market and banking systems in the United States and Chile

This research considers the role of government as a guarantor without burdening its financial
capacity. However, the private capital markets and banking systems will become key players to
provide financial resources to students. My study confirms the promising trend in Malaysia after
the introduction other types of asset backed securities such as lease, auto loans, credit cards
receivables and commercial mortgages. This advanced financial techniques instruments had help to
minimized the risk and reduce part of the social problem. Though only spanning over sixth years,
the securitization process and its continuous innovation have contributed to resolving and risk
managing problems in Malaysia. SCOPE AND LIMITATION OF THE STUDY The scope of this
research particularly focuses on the student loans problem, which has not been involved yet in
Malaysia. The work considers the characteristics of National Higher Education Fund Corporation
(PTPTN), suggests a structure for student loans securitization, and study the potential of the asset
backed securitization process in resolving the student loan problem. A limitation for this research is
that we will able to focus only on the United States and Chile student loans systems, as that process
is not yet implemented very broadly worldwide. The United States has implemented the federal
Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) to provide funds for students.

Poetry Analysis of Emily Dickinson Essay
Analysis of Emily Dickinson s The snake , In the Garden , and It bloomed and dropt, a Single Noon
.
Emily Dickinson uses nature in almost all of her poetry. She uses many literary techniques in her
poems to show her interpretations of nature and the world around her. In the poem The snake she
uses imagery in the forms sight and touch. The poem describes the snake as transient or passing
swiftly and deceptive or misleading. His appearance is sudden. As the snake moves it divides the
grass in one place, and as he moves, in another. The speaker has been deluded by the snake s
appearance. It mistakes the snake for a whip or lash. This is a use of situational irony.
Emily also uses personification to give the snake human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When saying, zero at the bone she is saying how the feeling penetrates to the bone and suggests
how deeply felt, and how intense the emotion is. By using these connotation at the end of her
poem she could be referring to death or dying, maybe from fear of the snake. This poem uses
many symbols, and specific word choice to show how danger may reveal itself in nature. After
reading the poem the tone can be seen as frightening or depressing because Emily takes the beauty
of nature and shows that there are sides to it that can be threatening and dangerous as well.
In another poem by Emily Dickinson entitled In the Garden she also uses lots of imagery about
nature. She uses sight and sound imagery to give the reader an idea of what the speaker is
seeing and hearing. Also, again she uses personification to give the bird human characteristics.
Talking about the bird as it came down the walk is an example of this. Emily uses symbols to
give the bird human qualities. She says that the bird bit an angle worm in halves/And ate the
fellow, raw. Ironically the word raw shows an implication of human values and practices. Why
would you expect the bird to cook its food? Emily then goes on to talk about the bird drinking
dew From a convenient grass which can be symbolic of a glass a human would drink from. The
bird is then polite to a beetle by hopping sidewise to the wall. This statement gives the bird a

Genealogy Is The Study Of Family History
Are you interested in history? Are you interested in learning about what your relatives did before
you? Genealogy is the study of family history. Genealogy is a fun yet addictive hobby. To get
started in genealogy there are two steps to start searching for your family history. The first step
towards starting your familytree is to gather as much information from living relatives. It is a
good idea to interview as many different relatives as you can. There are several ways one can go
about preserving your family history. One can use a video camera and take video of the relative.
Another method for getting the information down is to audio record an interview with the relative.
Yet if one so desires they could also take notes on a computer. Note taking on a computer is an
easier form to record the family information in. However you decide to record your information
be sure to get your relative s permission before choosing a method. It may make them
uncomfortable if you are interviewing them with a video camera without prior notice. What kinds
of questions should one ask when starting a genealogical interview? Some example questions
could be: Asking your relative when they were born; What they remember as a child; or family
stories. Family stories are excellent sources of information since they give greater insight into
other family members. The best way to get family information is to get as many family stories in
as much detail. Once you get all the details from your

Unconditional Love In Crime And Punishment
My idea was to do a handbook based on the theme of Love. I used Sonya and Dunya as the subjects
in my handbook to demonstrate this theme. Sonya and Dunya both experience love in different
ways throughout Crime and Punishment. While Sonya shows unconditional love towards others
such as her family and Raskolnikov, Dunya eventually shows evidence of self love. On one page, I
used a set of rules that individually fit Sonya and Dunya, these rules are actually lessons that
each girl learned in the book. Underneath Dunya and Sonya s rules, I placed an excerpt showing
an example of unconditional love for Sonya and self love for Dunya. The excerpt I used to display
Sonya s ability to persistently have compassion and unconditional love is a passage

How Did Johannes Veermeer Use Of Visual Realism
Two artists in history are widely known for their abilities to depict scenes in such realistic manners
that you would never know they are actually paintings. These two artists were named Albert
Bierstadt and Johannes Vermeer. Both men came from different times and different ethnic settings.
Dutchman, Johannes Vermeer was born in the year 1632 and passed away tragically in 1675. Over
his lifetime Vermeer put his soul into his paintings, causing modern day historians and art lovers to
struggle to figure out how he painted such realistic scenes. His style of paintingcombined many
pictorial depth cues while maintaining realism throughout the relatively few paintings he produced.
Then there is the Prussian artist, Albert Bierstadt, who was born... Show more content on

In the case of Vermeer, his paintings The Music Lesson and The Concert both focus on
individuals comfortable in their everyday settings during the 1600 s. The emotions that are
given off to the viewers through the use of realism through the topics in both of the paintings,
would be respectful and understanding. However, in The Music Lesson, Vermeer added a sense
of warmth and gentleness to the individuals painted through added help of color perspective with
the clothing and objects surrounding them being much more vibrant. In The Concert, Vermeer
added a sense of warmth through color perspective with only a small ray of light shining on the
women, while leaving the man darker to invoke a sense of focus on his activities. Focusing still
on color, another tool Vermeer used to create a sense of visual realism was the use of shading.
Shading is another pictorial depth cue that allows for a painter to create a three dimensional
appearance to a two dimensional painting through the use of darker colors for the shadows of
objects. In The Music Lesson, one of the most obvious uses of shading appears with the use of a
shadow behind the painting above the piano, caused by the painting hanging forward. Another
example of where shading was used, was with the shadows from the legs of the piano itself on the
wall. In The Concert, Vermeer uses shading in a more subtle manner with the most obvious use of
shading being the shadow cast from the painting hanging on the wall. The subtlest use of shading
would be the shadows that appear on the individuals clothing caused by the folds of the material
and objects preventing light from reaching the cloth. Vermeer also used the pictorial depth cues of
linear perspective and size perspective which focus on framing the painting in real world size and
creating a vanishing point. In The Concert, linear

The Power Elite Summary
C. Wright Mills was a very bright American sociologist, he is best known for introducing us to
many controversial theories. In his book The Power Elite, he talks about the corruption that exists
within our democracy. Mills talks about a concept called the revolving door, which states that
there is only a certain amount of people who hold all the power in their hands, and these same
people will move from one seat of institutional power to another, in a revolving door matter. In
today s society, I think that this behavior is a lot more common and obvious. We often see this
happen with CEO s moving into a government position, and the problems that come with this is
that they will more than likely vote in favor of laws which will benefit their... Show more content on

that the media is trying to feed us. Most of the news that you see on TV or hear on the radio is
only the tip of the iceberg. I don t mean to sound like I m in a tin foil hat, but I firmly believe that
the news that we are shown aren t the true problems, I think that it is important to dig deeper and

The Presidential Election of 2004 Essay
Analyze the Presidential election of 2004. What happened and why?
Analyze the changing nature of the media and how that is affecting politics.
The two questions identified above cannot be adequately answered alone without one influencing
the other because a campaign that influences the election of the most powerful position in the world
is a public event. However, after months of predictions of a too close to call contest, Bush won
nationwide balloting making him the 15th president elected to a second term and the first to win
both a majority of the popular vote and the Electoral College since his father in 1988. The GOP

Those who opposed the president did so because of his decision to go to war in Iraq and how it
was carried out and their nervousness about the economy. As it turned out Kerry s vote was anti
Bush, it wasn t pro Kerry.
Voter turnout hit record highs nationally, and the total for Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney
was higher than any previous presidential ticket. Some of the greatest percentage gains over 2000
came in 13 states that were the battleground in the presidential election. Millions of dollars were
spent on TV ads and voter mobilization. Interestingly, Democratic strategists had predicted that
turnout at those levels would assure victory. But Democratic voter drives were matched in large
part by Republicans, particularly religious conservatives.
Voters conveyed a sense of urgency about Iraq, and their top priority for President Bush to tackle
after his re election. Iraq was followed by terrorism among voters leading concerns. Voters also
conveyed they want the President to cut the deficit and balance the budget rather than reducing
taxes.
After a campaign dominated by discussion of Iraq and terrorism, national security issues were at the
top of voters concerns along with the economy. Many voters indicated through their votes they were
also concerned about quot;moral values quot;. This election confirmed that we are a divided nation,
not only politically, but in terms of our interpretation of religion. The

Comparison of Hrothgar and Beowulf as Kings.
What makes a well loved lord (20), an honored prince (88) or a leader beloved (1827)? Cultures
as well as individuals have differed in their definitions of a successful king for generations. The
epic poem Beowulf introduces two kings: Beowulf, the protagonist of the story, the famed hero
who slays monsters with his bare hands and then becomes king of the Geats, and Hrothgar, the king
of the Danish court, who is grateful for Beowulfs help in overcoming Grendeland his mother. A
king received respect for wealth, fame, and warriors, during the time in which the poem Beowulf
takes place. However, a king should go beyond these basic needs and become one with his people.

Beowulf boasts, With Grendel, the fearful fiend, single handed I ll settle the strife!...with hand
grip only I ll grapple with Grendel (329 330, 342). Although Beowulf found that never before
had he felt in any man other in all the earth a mightier hand grip; his mood was humbled, his
courage fled (568 570), which means he lost his courage for a moment, he proceeds to overcome
his fears and not only kill Grendel, but just as he has promised, kill him unarmed. Later on in
Beowulf, the hero becomes king, but still behaves like a hero by going out himself to kill a
dragon, burning the homes of his people. Wiglaf, one of his comrades says,
Beloved Beowulff, summon your strength, remember the vow you made of old in the years of
youth not to allow your glory to lessen as long as you lived. With resolute heart, and dauntless
daring, defend your life with all your force. (1589 1595)
Beowulf does not keep to these words, which state that he should not let himself be overtaken by
the need for glory, and therefore risk his life. Beowulf is not convinced, and is killed by the dragon.
After he dies, Wiglaf speaks again,
We could not persuade the king by our counsel, our well loved leader, to shun assualt on the
dreadful dragon guarding the gold; to let him lie where he long had lurked in his secret lair till the
world shall end. But Beowulf, dauntless pressed to his doom. (1815 1820)

a dull background in order to shows us the light in his world of darkness. As the narrator starts his

These words give the reader a sense of darkness and solidarity in the story. It seems that the main

humans need law to help them achieve their own projects in life and any rule that hinders them
from doing so can be rightfully disobeyed given that it doesn t cause a social distortion. With all
these adding up, we can see why he considers the procedure of lawmaking as the internal
morality of law. An analogy was given by him with his principles of legality being labelled as
the rules to using the tool, law. If the rules are not followed then the tool cannot be used to its
fullest extent and thus the definition of the law is not realised. Accommodation to the principle
is morale as it helps in achieving a human s greatest purpose in life. His idea of internal morality
of law is illustrated in his book, The Morality of Law, through a story of a fictional king named
Rex who applied his rules in ways that always resulted in a failure. Fuller laid out the failed
attempts of ruling and turns it into a list of eight Principles of Legality or as he calls it as,
Desideratum of Law. He contends that the conditions of the principle have to be met for a legal
system to be considered as valid, and the lack of it fails as such. That said, in order for a legal
system to be recognised, first and essentially, there must be rules. It is not enough for someone to
give out commands, there must be proper law. The rules then need to be publicised, prospective,
understandable, non contradictory,

The Weaknesses Of Canada s Refugee System
The various branches of law provide citizens with structure as a technique to avoid chaos and
move forward as a nation. However, a structure exclusive of flaws is impossible to achieve. This
being so, law has weaknesses and these weaknesses can prevent a being from making adequate
judgments. In particular, Canadas refugee system is flawed as unjust deportations are taking place.
Refugees escape their hometown to depart persecution of some sort and commence their lives in
safer countries ( How Canada s Refugee System Works 2016, par. 1). The Refugee system in
Canada follows a particular set of guidelines regarding how to qualify, apply, and stay in the
country. With numerous protection programs, the institute is immense as ruthless decisions... Show

The lives of refugees would be complicated as they will live in the shadows and hide for their
whole lives. For this reason, they might as well be sent back to their home countries to face their
problems. Not to mention, if Canada did not have a strict refugee system, it is more likely that
there would be an increase of dangerous being. Chances cannot be taken, and Canada stay
protected. These are fair arguments however; they do not take in consideration the horrors that
refugees may be facing within home countries. Surely enough, problems can be faced however
these problems can be murderous. Likewise, it is without doubt that Canada s refugee system is
strict, seeing that, innocuous refugees should be hidden. It could be a family member or a friend
that is trusted. In like manner, the refugee system can remain strict, although more consideration

The Greenhouse Gas Protocol
Reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission, particularly from industrial production, to combat
global climate change is one of the biggest sustainable development challenge for the international
community. Countries are adopting Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs), low
carbon development strategies and climate changepolicies to tackle issues of climate change and at
the same time meet their development goals. At the global level, United Nations Framework
Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Kyoto Protocol, have paved ways for voluntary
GHG emission reduction targets. To facilitate the mitigation actions, carbon intensities of

GHG Reporting Programme
In simple terms, accounting and reporting of GHG programme begins with identification of
programme objectives. These objectives may range from voluntary action like tracking progress
towards GHG reduction targets; supporting national climate change strategies; supporting GHG
trading programs; facilitating GHG mitigation activities; to provide information to shareholders and
investors.
Once the objectives are decided, the programme decides on which GHG accounting principles to
adopt. Such process implements basic principles like relevance, completeness, consistency,
transparency, and accuracy of data. After the base year has been selected the process follows
internationally accepted GHG accounting methodologies (see available protocols and standards
below), which can be modified to suit the requirement of the country or company.
After the objectives and the methodologies are agreed upon, the programme design will decide on
sectors, sources and gases that the programme covers. Generally, major economic sectors such as
energy, industrial processes, land use change, agriculture, and waste disposal are considered for the
GHG emission. Similarly, the

Descartes Teachings On Dualism
To understand how the dualist commits a category mistake, one must first understand Descartes
teachings on dualism from the Meditations on First Philosophy. Firstly, Descartes sees the mind
as an immaterial, non physical soul. He believes that his thoughts can be altered but he can
never be tricked into the thinking that he is thinking when he is not. While he has complete
faith in the existence of his mind, he doubts the existence of his body and the existence of other
people s minds. The reason for his doubt in his body is that he believes he can be tricked into
perceiving himself as having a body when he in fact does not. Descartes sees the mind as
separate from the body and believes that the two are composed of different kinds of substances,
one being mental and the other being physical. He further separates the mind from the body by
claiming that because the mind has the property of being undoubtable while the body has the
property of being doubtable, the two cannot be the same thing. According to Gilbert Ryle in his
article Descartes Myth he sets out to prove that there is no distinction between the body and the
mind, that the existence of the mind is obvious, and that Descartes entire theory is founded on
unsound reasoning. Ryle claims that the substance dualist makes a category mistake because they
refer to the mind and the body as existing in two separate categories. He explains that a category
mistake represents the facts of mental life as if they

The Effects Of Water Quality On The Water Supply Of...
Body Paragraph #1 Background:
Water is perhaps the most important component of any ecosystem. All living organisms need
water to grow and survive. As human population continues to grow, we need to understand and
determine the effects our habits will have on the ecosystems and our water supply. Four factors
that can affect the quality and importance of water are its abilities as a solvent, dipolar, benefits
and costs. Acceptance and long term sustainability of water quality interventions are pivotal to
realizing continued health benefits. According to the EPA (2015), only 3% of the world s water is
suitable for drinking, 2% of which is found in glaciers and ice, so in reality, only 1% of the earth s
water is accessible and potable .
Body Paragraph # 2 Objective:
This paper highlights the need to effectively involve and design interventions to determine human
factors that can cause damage to the supply of drinking water and the damage to the environment.
Furthermore, that interventions are required to improve water quality and supply. A number of
settings and experiments were conducted of initial water sources and the effects that household
factors can lead to determine water qualities and levels of contamination. The results would show
how such household chemicals like oil, vinegar and soap cause turbidity, odor and color change in
water supply.

In my opinion Catastrophe theory is more of a model than a theory in that it attempts to predict
human behaviour and performance rather than explaining how it occurs that is why it is not a
reliable theory. the model proposes that performance is affected by the relationship between
somatic (Physical) anxiety and cognitive (Mental) anxiety. when cognitive anxiety is high but
somatic anxiety is low performance is enhanced but when both cognitive and somatic anxiety are
high, performance can suddenly deteriorate. Following this sudden decrease in performance, the

JГЎtГ©kok ZongorГЎra is well known with its distinctive characteristics in terms of pedagogy
approach, structure of composition, and the purpose of each movement. The value of play is
attached important by KurtГЎg in this composition series as it involves the use of body as a whole
approach to play the piano (Junttu, 2008). In addition, many of the extended piano technique such
as glissandi and different types of clusters are introduced in a daring way through his pieces in
JГЎtГ©kok ZongorГЎra as a holistic modern piano pedagogy approach (Loffredo, 2009, p. 8). For
the structure of composition, it could be three types in overall: original miniature pieces, original
normal pieces, reduction of past pieces from other composers. The idea of homage in writing a
music composition and the idea of keeping the impact of traditional notation in the contemporary
piano technique are remarkable (Johnson, 2002; Loffredo, 2009)

Similar to that of the rise of classical liberal theology and Protestantism, the Roman Catholic
Church experienced a change in theological thought. Modernism led to increased biblical
criticism and called for Catholic theologies to adapt to the surrounding modern world. Just like
those who opposed liberalism, this new way of thinking was also faced with many within the
church who opposed it. In 1959 however, John XXIII was elected as the new pope who would set
out to bring the church up to speed with the modern world. The result was the formation of the
Second Vatican Council also commonly referred to as the Vatican II. Theologians Karl Rahner and
Hans KГјng s attendance to the council had a major impact because their ideas helped to advance a
Catholic theology which focused on bridging the gap between the church and contemporary culture.
Vatican II met at the Vatican City in Rome from 1962 to 1965. It was formed in order to discuss
different theological controversies that continued to confront the Church. Prior to this meeting the

Role And Role Of Gender Inequality In Indian Society
GENDER INEQUALITY IN INDIAN SOCIETY AND ROLE OF WOMEN S EDUCATION IN
REMOVING GENDER INEQUALITY
Abstract
If we look in to the history, since ages women have been experiencing discrimination, viewed as
less than fully human, considered as inferior brains, suffered a lot due to a lack of legal rights and
with very little independence. Gender is a function of power relationship between men and women
where men are considered superior to women in Indian society. Traditionally women are considered
as weaker section and kept in a subordinate position to men. The level of discrimination differs from
society to society, community to community; it depends upon the development stage of a particular
society or nation. Patriarchy system is the root cause of gender inequality.
Education is a key tool in bringing socio economic empowerment among women, which brings
citizenry consciousness among women on their rights and duties. It promotes social, political,
economical and cultural advancement of women. Educated women have proved to be no less than
men in all fields.

The Role Of Research On The Field Of Education
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to identify the role that research has in the field of education and to
clarify how research is used by education stakeholders. This paper refers to ten articles in order to
provide rationale for the thesis that education is influenced at all hierarchical levels by research,
although it is used differently by each level based on the desired outcome and the requirements of
each level s particular stakeholders. Two categories of research are explored in this paper:
traditional and action research. Traditional research is generally assumed to be conducted by a
researcher who controls all aspects of the research study, from the formation of a research question
to the presentation of findings. This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If all parties work in symbiosis with the shared goal of creating and supporting a system that grants
students the highest quality of education possible, then certainly research plays an integral part in
that.
The Role of Research in Education Before exploring the role of research in education, however,
the nature and objective of education must be defined. Education is not so much an institution
working in a vacuum as it is a complex machine made up of a huge number of parts, all of which
work in concert toward achieving a common purpose: graduating students into the world who are
equipped to participate as productive members of society. Within the framework of education
there exists a multitude of stakeholders who are influenced by their own agendas and expectations
and who have their own part to play in the success or failure of the education system. Given all
that to be true, research is a diagnostic tool that can be used by stakeholders to identify and remedy
shortcomings within the educational system and also to seek out ways of improving and refining
existing processes.

Research and the Educational Hierarchy Rinaldo (2005) describes the role of research in this way:

hand me down sneakers with a hole in them cheap sport. Although, thankfully for the past few
weeks I had been saving up for this glorious day of days. Now I doubt you have even heard rather
than stepped inside the heaven known as the PGA Superstore so let me just paint you a picture.
First, of all the store is roughly the size as maybe the entire top level of Dave and Busters in the
Hawthorne mall. When you walk into this Heaven on Earth the first thing you may notice is just
how freaking huge it is! Also, the first thing you see in the store is a plethora of every single
thing you would need to golf. But past all the golfing equipment if you can survive the labyrinth
of the store then in the back right corner you will find the prized jewel. A tennis court and a huge
array of racquets and tennis shoes. Being the little 14 year old I was I couldn t close my mouth
in awe. But what happens soon is what really divides the line between the preppy tennis players
and the down to earth one s. Before my Dad could say anything as he saw me zone out in tennis
daydreams I ran to the closest store employee and asked them to demo

An Analysis Of Charlie Fineman s Reign Over Me
Media Assignment/Reign over me There is a man named Alan Johnson, a man who pretty much
has everything he really needs in life, a good job, Loving and gorgeous wife, and great kids. Alan
starts to feel isolated because his hardworking job, along with trying to manage his family, get to
be to much for him to really handle, plus he has know one to talk about it with. Then there is
Charlie Fineman, who has pretty much nothing, no family, and know job. Charlie had both until he
suffers a terrible loss, grief caused him to quit his job completely, and simply isolate himself from
everybody around him. Alan and Charlie were actually roommates in college, and after an

But it also impacts Alan s ways in his life and helps him to bette his own relationship with his
family. So Charlie in the end really ends up helping his friend out with his own problems, after
he tries to help him, and the ultimate goal was for Charlie to get better and through all of his
actions, it propelled him to get better as he expressed his problems, so he may then get the help
that he always needed, and it took a true friend like Alan to stick by his side and help him out
through his struggles, Thats why I applaud Alan. I think this was a good film, It really showed a
lot about how people can struggle through life with disorders, and it also shows how you can
over come it if you simply seek help in others, and really just shows you also the severe ways
people try to cope with there problems and show you what happens to them if they don t seek help,
just how charlie could have killed

How Did Chanel Change In The 1920s
During the 1920s the art world experienced a lot of change. The art world began to display its
new flawless works in colorful expressionism. Haute couture, French for high fashion, was no
exception to these newly made changes. Coco Chanel born as Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was an
artist of clothing and of beauty. Chanels early life was not as pleasing as she made it known to be.
Chanel lied about her childhood experiences in order to avoid social prejudice that accompanied the
situations in her upbringing.
Chanel was introduced into the world of art in 1908 after moving in with her lover
Etienne Balsan. It was in his home that she began designing hats, which would then lead to her
initial success in the world of fashion. Chanel moved on in her ... Show more content on

Chanel gained popularity from some of her revolutionizing ideas. Just as the rest of the art world,
haute couture also experienced a drastic change during the 1920s. Chanel s fame began with her
refashioning of an old jersey. Chanel herself said My fortune is built on that old jersey that I d
put on because it was cold in Deauville, (Chanel). Chanel s fame came from one simple idea and
has blossomed to her world wide success.

Chanel correlates with the world of art in her time as she began introducing new concepts to the
world of fashion just as impressionist movements began around her time of fame. Chanel
introduced many unheard of concepts which also attributed to her fame. Her introduction of the
color black to the world of fashion is the reason we have the phrase little black dress . Chanel
took something that was seemingly exclusive to funerary occasions and brought it straight into the
world of high fashion. Chanel herself said Women think of all colors except the absence of color.
I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony
(Chanel). Chanel exuded her opinion in many of her flawless gowns designed

The Songs Of Drake s Rise
Popular Albums of 2015
People often go through relationship issues, breakups, sadness, depression, struggles, and other
emotional events. Listening to songs gives people s emotion a voice to which they can relate to.
Being able to connect to people at such a deep and personal level allows songs to become popular
and allows the Artist s album to rise to the top and be successful. In the year 2015, there were
many successful albums that were released, but in my opinion Drake s album If You re Reading
This It s Too Late and Justin Bieber s album Purpose was a success because of how deeply the
artists were able to connect with their fans and listeners.
Firstly, Drake s album If You re Reading This It s Too Late reached out to the everyday... Show

This caused his popularity to sky rocket and his fans kept on increasing. Drakes album Nothing
Was the Same, was such a huge hit and became the bestselling album of 2013. This hyped up his
2015 album release and many people bought it just because they expected Drake s new album to
match or exceed the popularity of his last album. Drake sings about what goes on the daily in his
life and people are able to relate to this, because many of them find themselves in a similar
situation. Thus, allowed this album to rise to the top and be successful.
Moreover, Justin s album Purpose was a huge success because of all the different styles of music
he was offering to the listeners. He included many genre styles in his album such as R B, pop,
EDM, folk, contemporary R B and more. This allowed people from many different music tastes
to listen and like his album. It also helped people try out other genres of music too. This album is
a showcase of how Justin Bieber matured as artist. This album relates to past relations a lot and
how to coup with those lingering feelings. Many of his songs in this album are about relationship
issues but still he is able to keep it uplifting and provide support to people going to the same
situation. Justin Bieber sends a message through his songs that it will be alright and that you
should Love Yourself which is also a song title in his album. Another key factor to the success of
Justin Bieber s Purpose was the incredible number of diehard fans

Islamic Cultural History
Few phenomena have had as significant of an impact on modern culture as terrorism. Following
the rise of the Islamic State in 2014, acts of terror perpetrated by the would be caliphate have
headlined global news cycles, rife with displays of atrocity and a deadly ambition to create a
country ruled by extremist ideals. However, in the broader context of history, what will have the
most significant effect on cultural memory is not the fact that these terrorists and ideologues
attempted to form a state, but that it was one claimed to be inherently Islamic. The resulting culture
of fear, othering , and Islamophobia experienced across the developed world will cement the place
of the Islamic State in cultural history, even as the group itself... Show more content on

The media has played an unprecedented role in the phenomenon of the Islamic State, and will
ensure its continuing relevance in cultural history. Through extensive coverage of its actions, both
in the middle east and in the west, the Islamic State has generated a fear of terrorism unlike any in
recent history. Constant images of executions, IS flags, and videos of soldiers patrolling
captured cities are made inescapable by the prevalence of social media. This coverage ...has not
caused the change in the nature of acts of terror over the past decades but it has made it easier
for terrorist organizations to reach and instill fear in (most predominantly) the West (Galily et al.
1063). Recent evidence supports this, including a 2017 study that determined news reports on
terrorism can cause a fear of terrorism in those watching that was previously absent. (Sikorski et
al. 840). In addition, the fear caused by the inundation of media surrounding the Islamic State was
magnified by often unpredictable lone wolf attacks on western cities. Concerning this, Kaplan
and Costa remark that ...what seemed to have changed ... was not the likelihood of dramatic
terrorism on the scale of the 9/11 attacks so much as the specter of low level IS inspired terrorism
in the West (Kaplan and Costa 929). The knowledge that radicals could perpetrate attacks in major
cities like Paris and

Short Story- First Day Essay
Short Story First Day
As I run, trying desperately not to be late, my heart was pumping. It s my first day at my new
school and already I m 5 minutes late, wondering what will the teacher say and, more
importantly, what my new class will think of me. I run as hard as I can, not caring about my bag
rubbing on my shoulders. I run as hard and as fast as I can trying not to be too late. As I approach
the stairs, I run up, jump the three steps, burst through the door into the empty corridors, still
wondering what everyone will say. I run in the direction of my new classroom approaching the last
corner. I swing round the corner and Crash !
As I sit up of the ground wondering whom I crashed into, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

I slowly look up at the class, seeing what seems like hundreds of eyes all staring straight at me. I
quickly scan the room for any possible new friends. All of this just taking a few seconds but
seeming like a lifetime. I slowly and gingerly move my left foot forward to take my first step into
my new classroom.
I slowly begin to walk into the room, turning round to shut the door that seems to have stopped
creaking. As the door clicks shut, I take another deep breath, still aware of the eyes burning holes in
my back, and turn round to face the eyes and the teacher. As I look up and I make eyecontact with
the teacher, I open my mouth, preparing to say something, when she beats me to it.
Excuse me, can I help u? , she says still making eye contact. I realise that she must have forgotten
about the new kid starting today. I open my mouth and say, Erm, yes, I m new to the school today
and I ve been told that I m in this class .
All of the time I m saying this I can still feel the eyes of the class piercing my back.
When the teacher hears this she breaks eye contact with me at last and looks down at something
on her desk. She seems to take forever as her eyes scan a piece of paper up and down several
times. The class behind me begin to get bored and start whispering, what they re saying I cannot
hear. As this happens and the teacher is still scanning the list I

Contiki Speech
Katrine Ornejas
Good morning everyone today I am going to talk to you about how Contiki was created and how
the company became a success. Contiki began from John s own desire to see Europe cheaply. He
is the man who was behind all the successes of Contiki and came up with the idea of this tour
company. To make this happen, there were guides that he went through to help establish this
tourism business. I will also talk to you about how he grows the business and make it a success and
of course the traps to watch out when running a business.
First of all, John Anderson was a 23 year old man who was born in New Zealand. He grew up with
his mum while his dad was in Europe. One day he went to Europe for a couple days and he just fell

One of the very important techniques that I learned on this book was the power of word of mouth.
Basically when a group young adults went for a trip, they makes sure that everyone will have an
awesome trip and when they came back they will tell their friends and relatives about their
experience. They will spread the word on how amazing the experience they had on the trip. They
will talk about what attractions they ve seen or where they went in Europe or what activities
they did. At this point, when other people heard about their great feedback for the trip, it will
give a huge interest to other people. For me personally, if my friend went to that trip and told me
that she had a really great time on the trip, I would definitely book on that trip too if I want to
travel. It will give me an interest and it shows that I can trust the company because they had a
really great customer feedback. Another thing is to treat the passenger s complaints seriously
no matter how big or small it is because you ll never know what could happen and it could
possibly affect the whole company. Make sure you identify and diffuse any issue before it
becomes a major. Because if you didn t solve the problem, it doesn t only affect the company but
also the customer s loyalty and trust which is very important for a business. When you make sure
that you satisfied their needs even though you made a mistake, you can solve it earlier or later
before it gets

Japan Women
To understand all modern or early modern states in a general sense is almost impossible; therefore,
a narrowing down is necessary here. This paper discusses solely about Japan and China, assumed as
early modern in this specific context, and the position of women, particularly prostitutes, within
them. Drawn from Amy Stanley s Selling Women and Matthew H. Sommer s Sex, Law, and
Society in Late Imperial China, it addresses the differences and similarities between the women of
China and Japan in sex trade to elaborate how women were subject to the gendered order along
socio economic changes. At the first glance, women in China and Japan in the early modern stage
were strikingly dissimilar. One of the most conspicuous differences lies in... Show more content on

Chinese women, if a commoner, were required to follow the social system which endowed sexual
monopoly of the husbands over the wives, whereas the situation of their Japanese counterparts is
similar in that the praising of indentured prostitutes who supported their families was a discourse to
help strengthen the patriarchal status system in early Tokugawa period. Certainly, the society
changed over time and so was the position of women within it. This is clearly seen in the expansion
of sex trade in Japan since the eighteenth century and the emancipation edict of jian status in 1723
in Qing China. However, this does not mean that women were freed from the gendered social cage.
As Sommer contends, the edict reinforced the gendered stratum, implicated in that as all women
were categorized as commoners, they were ultimately evaluated by their sexual history . In the
Japanese case, Stanley argues that Japanese prostitutes were never really autonomous in economic
terms. This accusation of being economic autonomous agents by the local elites and peasants
precisely evidences the patriarchal anxiety to maintain the gendered order

This profession is performed by the certified public accountant (CPA). After passing the state s exam and meeting the additional experience requirement you will get a CPA license. Based on the article of CPA Horizons 2025 we are going to identify the four influential factors in the profession of CPAs, which are: Pre certification and lifelong learning, pride in the profession, value proposition, and world wide profession. Introduction A CPA is a certified public accountantwho is licensed by a state board of accountancy. To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, you are required to demonstrate... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They make their decisions based on financial information certified by CPAs. This profession, and since its appearance, has not stagnated and has undergone several changes. These changes occurred mainly after the financial scandals of the 2000s. These changes are primarily the approval of the Sarbanes Oxley Act. AICPA issued an examination of the future of the profession and the determining factors of the future of CPAs. The project examined the trends affecting CPAs in their daily work, enlisted opinions on how these trends will impact CPAs in the years ahead, and helped to identify actions the profession could take to meet challenges and leverage opportunities now and in the coming years. (AICPA) In this study we will be interested to look at four influential factors in the profession of CPAs which are: Pre certification and lifelong learning, pride in the profession, value proposition, and world wide profession. The four most important themes that I consider are: 1)Pre certification and lifelong Learning: A CPA has to maintain a dynamic changing of business in matters related to government regulations and compliance. There are different actions that a CPA can take in order to meet these needs; a CPA must dedicate time to stay current with regulations, social economics, technology, and political trends domestically and abroad as well. A Novel Soft Switching of Multi Level DC DC Converter Fed DC Motor Drive Using PV Source M.Eswar Chand Assistant Professor Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering, Sri Sunflower College Of Engineering Technology, Lankapalli. Krishna(Dt); Andhra Pradesh, India. eshwaar.chand@gmail.com P.Hemanth Kumar Assistant Professor Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering, Sri Vasavi Institute Of Engineering Technology, Nandamuru, Krishna(Dt); Andhra Pradesh, India. hemanth659@gmail.com ABSTRACT D.C. motors are seldom used in ordinary applications because all electric supply companies furnish alternating current. However, for special applications such as in steel mills, mines and electric trains, it is advantageous to convert low value of DC into high value of DC in order to use D.C. motors controlled by power electronic apparatus. Here the DC motor is controlled power electronic converters through RES system. Although the design of these converters has been presented at the operational level, some fundamental issues such as topologies, analyses, and control have not been thoroughly studied. In this paper, the basic HB TL topology is first presented. This is followed by the derivation of a systematic method of generating TL converter topologies, leading to the derivation of a family of TL converters with improvement and simplification for better functionality and practicality. • 4. Marc Lewis Reflection Critical Thinking Assignment #3 Since I have been reading the life of Marc Lewis I find myself always becoming more and more excited about what is going to happen next. So far it has been filled with ups and down and me trying to predict what will happen next on his journey. While reading chapter 6 I was so elated that Marc had gotten accepted to college, it seems as though he actually has a plan for himself and is determined to exceed every goal. But normally good things don t always last for a time and for some reason I could sense that something was about to happen. For those of us who were not given the opportunity to have a silver spoon in their mouth or even those who had the spoon but chose not to use it acquire a different meaning in life. Growing up I lived in the projects, with drug dealers and snotty nosed kids who only aspiration when they grew up was to get out of the projects. Thankfully at a young age I was adopted by my grandparents and just like Marc Lewis a new door opened and I was finally given a chance at life itself. I truly believe that when people are presented with things that inspire them to do better or be better then they will change their attitude on everything. They begin to create dreams of being successful, studious and eventually become so set in their goals that even when things go bad they choose not to focus on them because of the complete turnaround they just achieved. Although marc seemed to be doing great I could tell that he didn t want to do the complete turnaround, I say this because he was still smoking hash, it was evident that it had become apart of his new lifestyle whether he actually wanted it to or not. He began to put a phosaude, almost like when you re high around your parents and try to act as normal as possible. He said that the trick is to balance anxiety and ecstasy and in all honesty I had no clue to what he was trying to say. The psychedelic drugs caused his thoughts to go from normal thoughts like what he wanted to eat or buy and would quickly change to his possible enemies such as customers, children and President Ronald Reagan. Psychedelic drugs cause people to hallucinate and become in and out of consciousness. I know a few people who have ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The work considers the characteristics of National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), suggests a structure for student loans securitization, and study the potential of the asset backed securitization process in resolving the student loan problem. • 6. Poetry Analysis of Emily Dickinson Essay Analysis of Emily Dickinson s The snake , In the Garden , and It bloomed and dropt, a Single Noon . Emily Dickinson uses nature in almost all of her poetry. She uses many literary techniques in her poems to show her interpretations of nature and the world around her. In the poem The snake she uses imagery in the forms sight and touch. The poem describes the snake as transient or passing swiftly and deceptive or misleading. His appearance is sudden. As the snake moves it divides the grass in one place, and as he moves, in another. The speaker has been deluded by the snake s appearance. It mistakes the snake for a whip or lash. This is a use of situational irony. Emily also uses personification to give the snake human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When saying, zero at the bone she is saying how the feeling penetrates to the bone and suggests how deeply felt, and how intense the emotion is. By using these connotation at the end of her poem she could be referring to death or dying, maybe from fear of the snake. This poem uses many symbols, and specific word choice to show how danger may reveal itself in nature. After reading the poem the tone can be seen as frightening or depressing because Emily takes the beauty of nature and shows that there are sides to it that can be threatening and dangerous as well. In another poem by Emily Dickinson entitled In the Garden she also uses lots of imagery about nature. She uses sight and sound imagery to give the reader an idea of what the speaker is seeing and hearing. Also, again she uses personification to give the bird human characteristics. Talking about the bird as it came down the walk is an example of this. Emily uses symbols to give the bird human qualities. She says that the bird bit an angle worm in halves/And ate the fellow, raw. Ironically the word raw shows an implication of human values and practices. Why would you expect the bird to cook its food? Emily then goes on to talk about the bird drinking dew From a convenient grass which can be symbolic of a glass a human would drink from. The bird is then polite to a beetle by hopping sidewise to the wall. This statement gives the bird a personality, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Genealogy is a fun yet addictive hobby. To get started in genealogy there are two steps to start searching for your family history. The first step towards starting your familytree is to gather as much information from living relatives. It is a good idea to interview as many different relatives as you can. There are several ways one can go about preserving your family history. One can use a video camera and take video of the relative. Another method for getting the information down is to audio record an interview with the relative. Yet if one so desires they could also take notes on a computer. Note taking on a computer is an easier form to record the family information in. However you decide to record your information be sure to get your relative s permission before choosing a method. How Did Johannes Veermeer Use Of Visual Realism Two artists in history are widely known for their abilities to depict scenes in such realistic manners that you would never know they are actually paintings. These two artists were named Albert Bierstadt and Johannes Vermeer. Both men came from different times and different ethnic settings. Dutchman, Johannes Vermeer was born in the year 1632 and passed away tragically in 1675. Over his lifetime Vermeer put his soul into his paintings, causing modern day historians and art lovers to struggle to figure out how he painted such realistic scenes. In the case of Vermeer, his paintings The Music Lesson and The Concert both focus on individuals comfortable in their everyday settings during the 1600 s. The emotions that are given off to the viewers through the use of realism through the topics in both of the paintings, would be respectful and understanding. However, in The Music Lesson, Vermeer added a sense of warmth and gentleness to the individuals painted through added help of color perspective with the clothing and objects surrounding them being much more vibrant. In The Concert, Vermeer added a sense of warmth through color perspective with only a small ray of light shining on the women, while leaving the man darker to invoke a sense of focus on his activities. Focusing still on color, another tool Vermeer used to create a sense of visual realism was the use of shading. Shading is another pictorial depth cue that allows for a painter to create a three dimensional appearance to a two dimensional painting through the use of darker colors for the shadows of objects. In The Music Lesson, one of the most obvious uses of shading appears with the use of a shadow behind the painting above the piano, caused by the painting hanging forward. Another example of where shading was used, was with the shadows from the legs of the piano itself on the wall. In The Concert, Vermeer uses shading in a more subtle manner with the most obvious use of shading being the shadow cast from the painting hanging on the wall. The subtlest use of shading would be the shadows that appear on the individuals clothing caused by the folds of the material and objects preventing light from reaching the cloth. Vermeer also used the pictorial depth cues of linear perspective and size perspective which focus on framing the painting in real world size and creating a vanishing point. In The Concert, linear ... • 20. The Morality Of Law By John Finnis This is also in accordance to the theories made by John Finnis, a naturalist, who proposes that humans need law to help them achieve their own projects in life and any rule that hinders them from doing so can be rightfully disobeyed given that it doesn t cause a social distortion. With all these adding up, we can see why he considers the procedure of lawmaking as the internal morality of law. An analogy was given by him with his principles of legality being labelled as the rules to using the tool, law. If the rules are not followed then the tool cannot be used to its fullest extent and thus the definition of the law is not realised. Accommodation to the principle is morale as it helps in achieving a human s greatest purpose in life. His idea of internal morality of law is illustrated in his book, The Morality of Law, through a story of a fictional king named Rex who applied his rules in ways that always resulted in a failure. Fuller laid out the failed attempts of ruling and turns it into a list of eight Principles of Legality or as he calls it as, Desideratum of Law. He contends that the conditions of the principle have to be met for a legal system to be considered as valid, and the lack of it fails as such. That said, in order for a legal system to be recognised, first and essentially, there must be rules. It is not enough for someone to give out commands, there must be proper law. • 25. Descartes Teachings On Dualism To understand how the dualist commits a category mistake, one must first understand Descartes teachings on dualism from the Meditations on First Philosophy. Firstly, Descartes sees the mind as an immaterial, non physical soul. He believes that his thoughts can be altered but he can never be tricked into the thinking that he is thinking when he is not. While he has complete faith in the existence of his mind, he doubts the existence of his body and the existence of other people s minds. The reason for his doubt in his body is that he believes he can be tricked into perceiving himself as having a body when he in fact does not. Descartes sees the mind as separate from the body and believes that the two are composed of different kinds of substances, one being mental and the other being physical. He further separates the mind from the body by claiming that because the mind has the property of being undoubtable while the body has the property of being doubtable, the two cannot be the same thing. According to Gilbert Ryle in his article Descartes Myth he sets out to prove that there is no distinction between the body and the mind, that the existence of the mind is obvious, and that Descartes entire theory is founded on unsound reasoning. Ryle claims that the substance dualist makes a category mistake because they refer to the mind and the body as existing in two separate categories. Four factors that can affect the quality and importance of water are its abilities as a solvent, dipolar, benefits and costs. The professional sport industry is responsible for creating sporting events in which athletes compete for compensation (Masteralexis, Barr Hums, 2012, p. 232). The opportunity of watching the business end of the organization instead of just watching a team play as a fan, interests me and I believe it would give me a different perspective of the industry. Being a part of a team and competing against other teams is an exciting thrill ride that is difficult to replace. It gave me an adrenaline rush every time I stepped out on the field or court while wearing my school s colors. Working for an organization in professional sport is not necessarily the same as playing for the team, but the feelings are the same. Just being a part of an organization would give me the same feeling I would get when playing on a team of my own. I would know that even though I am not playing, the job that I am doing, regardless of what it is, is benefiting the team in some way. • 38. The Role Of Research On The Field Of Education Abstract The purpose of this paper is to identify the role that research has in the field of education and to clarify how research is used by education stakeholders. This paper refers to ten articles in order to provide rationale for the thesis that education is influenced at all hierarchical levels by research, although it is used differently by each level based on the desired outcome and the requirements of each level s particular stakeholders. Two categories of research are explored in this paper: traditional and action research. Traditional research is generally assumed to be conducted by a researcher who controls all aspects of the research study, from the formation of a research question to the presentation of findings. This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If all parties work in symbiosis with the shared goal of creating and supporting a system that grants students the highest quality of education possible, then certainly research plays an integral part in that. The Role of Research in Education Before exploring the role of research in education, however, the nature and objective of education must be defined. Education is not so much an institution working in a vacuum as it is a complex machine made up of a huge number of parts, all of which work in concert toward achieving a common purpose: graduating students into the world who are equipped to participate as productive members of society. Within the framework of education there exists a multitude of stakeholders who are influenced by their own agendas and expectations and who have their own part to play in the success or failure of the education system. Given all that to be true, research is a diagnostic tool that can be used by stakeholders to identify and remedy shortcomings within the educational system and also to seek out ways of improving and refining existing processes. Literature Review Research and the Educational Hierarchy Rinaldo (2005) describes the role of research in this way: Research provides us with a variety of perspectives from which to see things and find a way of empirically analyzing our findings. It enables us to see from where we have come, provides us with a description of where we are now and gives us some ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Following the rise of the Islamic State in 2014, acts of terror perpetrated by the would be caliphate have headlined global news cycles, rife with displays of atrocity and a deadly ambition to create a country ruled by extremist ideals. However, in the broader context of history, what will have the most significant effect on cultural memory is not the fact that these terrorists and ideologues attempted to form a state, but that it was one claimed to be inherently Islamic. Constant images of executions, IS flags, and videos of soldiers patrolling captured cities are made inescapable by the prevalence of social media. Basically when a group young adults went for a trip, they makes sure that everyone will have an awesome trip and when they came back they will tell their friends and relatives about their experience. They will spread the word on how amazing the experience they had on the trip. They will talk about what attractions they ve seen or where they went in Europe or what activities they did. At this point, when other people heard about their great feedback for the trip, it will give a huge interest to other people. It will give me an interest and it shows that I can trust the company because they had a really great customer feedback. Another thing is to treat the passenger s complaints seriously no matter how big or small it is because you ll never know what could happen and it could possibly affect the whole company. Make sure you identify and diffuse any issue before it becomes a major. This paper discusses solely about Japan and China, assumed as early modern in this specific context, and the position of women, particularly prostitutes, within them. Drawn from Amy Stanley s Selling Women and Matthew H. Sommer s Sex, Law, and Society in Late Imperial China, it addresses the differences and similarities between the women of China and Japan in sex trade to elaborate how women were subject to the gendered order along socio economic changes. At the first glance, women in China and Japan in the early modern stage were strikingly dissimilar. One of the most conspicuous differences lies in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Chinese women, if a commoner, were required to follow the social system which endowed sexual monopoly of the husbands over the wives, whereas the situation of their Japanese counterparts is similar in that the praising of indentured prostitutes who supported their families was a discourse to help strengthen the patriarchal status system in early Tokugawa period. Certainly, the society changed over time and so was the position of women within it. This is clearly seen in the expansion of sex trade in Japan since the eighteenth century and the emancipation edict of jian status in 1723 in Qing China. However, this does not mean that women were freed from the gendered social cage. As Sommer contends, the edict reinforced the gendered stratum, implicated in that as all women were categorized as commoners, they were ultimately evaluated by their sexual history . In the Japanese case, Stanley argues that Japanese prostitutes were never really autonomous in economic terms.
