cents? Is one life more valuable than another, or can one be tossed aside like the leftover change
someone receives after buying a hamburger from McDonald s? Placing a monetary value on
someone s life is nearly impossible to do, as can be seen in Episode 05 of Michael Sandel s Justice
series. Episode 05 is split into two parts, both involving how to determine if a price can be placed
on the life of a fellow human being. Part one discusses whether or not it is acceptable to pay
someone else to take one s place during military conscription, while part two focuses on whether
or not paying for a surrogate mother or father is in fact a monetary transaction of human life. The

For this speech I choose to have my topic be something I have a strong personal connection to

teach across the religions. One strength of the thematic approach is that it points to similarities
between religions and I think that this is where most value in RE comes from. However, these
similarities are often far too superficial and can even be slightly arbitrary . For example, some
schools may teach spring festivals when the similarities between these festivals are not the time
of year at which they are held but something far more consequential. If this approach could move
past this problem it would be far more useful. Of course, we must remember that, once again this
is only how the approach is used rather than the approach itself that causes the problem. I have

Hayao Miyazaki s oscar award winning Spirited Away was the first Japanese anime film to win an
Oscar. To see how this animated feature film won this grand award, this paper will talk about the
writing, music, and sound design of this film.
Hayao Miyazaki was born on January 5, 1941 in a town called Akebono cho in BunkyЕЌ, Tokyo.
His father ran a business that manufactured plane rudders during World War II. At the age of 3,
Miyazaki s family had to evacuate numerous times to escape bombings in their area. Miyazaki
aspired to become a manga artist when he was in junior high, but he was not good at drawing
people, so instead he drew planes, tanks, and ships. He then got inspired by a movie called Panda
and the Magic Serpent (1958) and began to draw more people.
Miyazaki s writing tends to be more on the fantasy side. One theme that can be seen throughout

The Spirit Of The Holy Spirit
Most of my ministry career has been spent trying to house break the Holy Spirit. As a young man
I saw so many instances of ministers manipulating people to try and drum up the Holy Spirit or
the people to receive the Holy Spirit that I thought the Holy Spirit needed our help if He was to
move in the lives of people. I had never really seen the work or manifestations of the Holy Spirit
outside of a southern Pentecostal setting. Furthermore, as a young man, I was always impressed

power of the Holy Spirit, I doubted His intentions to allow such things to happen. So my interest
in an academic understanding of the Holy Spirit is insatiable. There has to be more to the Holy

Holy Spirit has opened my eyes to the narrow mindedness of my Pneumatology. I now recognize
the Holy Spirit in our services more than in the past. I also rely more heavily on the Holy Spirit s
leading in the direction of our ministry, both in services and in meetings. This has given your

An Electrocardiogram, or ECG or EKG, is a recording of the hearts electrical activity as a graph
over a period of time, as detected by electrodes attached to the outer surface of the skin and
recorded by a device external of the body (Boundless). The graph of an ECG can identify various
things initiated by the heart, such as its rate, rhythm, a decrease in blood flow, and a possible
enlargement. For a healthy individual, a typical ECG shows the whole cardiac cycle or heart
beat which includes a P wave (Atrial depolarization), a QRS complex (Ventricular depolarization),
and a T wave (Ventricular repolarization). The ECG s first spike or P wave is triggered by the
Sinoatrial node (SA node), which is also known as the pacemaker and the electrical impulse from

One passage from Hiroshima, written by John Hersey, was an observation from all the
individuals in the book. This passage caught my attention and it stayed with me as I read on.
Hersey wrote, They still wonder why they lived when so many others died.[...] At the time, none

dropping an atomic bomb. So many people died, suffered, and were injured throughout the
