important for implementing an effective marketing
strategy. You must know your products and services
better, your core values and your primary business
goals.

potential, factors that may affect your future
growth, and trading conditions.
Target Customers
Know more about your current target
customers, their likes and dislikes, buying motive
of the customers and perception of your product
and service in the market.

Identify your key competitors and plan strategies
to compete them. Find out what level of threat do
your competitors pose and what is their current
perceived marketing strategy.
Promotional Activity
Try to find out what promotional activities you will
indulge in so that you get maximum visibility.
Find a good primary marketing message and

business.

  • 2. Definition A marketing strategy explains how a business is going to achieve its objectives, reach its target audience and experience an increase in sales.
  • 3. Information required for effective marketing strategy There are a number of information required before creating an effective marketing strategy. They help in creating ideal marketing strategies.
  • 4. Business Overview Understanding the business overview is very important for implementing an effective marketing strategy. You must know your products and services better, your core values and your primary business goals.
  • 5. Opportunity available in the Market Understand your current market situation, market potential, factors that may affect your future growth, and trading conditions.
  • 6. Target Customers Know more about your current target customers, their likes and dislikes, buying motive of the customers and perception of your product and service in the market.
  • 7. Competition Identify your key competitors and plan strategies to compete them. Find out what level of threat do your competitors pose and what is their current perceived marketing strategy.
  • 8. Promotional Activity Try to find out what promotional activities you will indulge in so that you get maximum visibility. Find a good primary marketing message and analyze what your audience say about your business.
