The document outlines the resources and equipment that will be used for a film production. A Sony DSLR camera will be used along with a waterproof casing for underwater shots. Additional equipment includes a shoulder stabilizer, tripod, dolly, softbox lighting, studio lights, and reflectors. The school will provide the camera casing, stabilizer, lighting equipment, and editing software. Final Cut Pro X will be used for editing by Hannah Grinham, including jump cuts, fades, and slow motion shots. A recording studio at the school will be used for minimal dialogue.

1. We will use a Sony DSLR camera. This will enable us to adjust the white balance, apature and
exposure settings, resulting in less editing in post production.
2. We will need a DSLR waterproof camera casing in order to ensure the protection of the camera
when we film the shots underneath the water.

We could potentially use a Gopro camera in case of problems with the DSLR underwater as we
know that a Gopro works underwater without issues. However we will do this as a last resort as the
Gopro has a rounded effect on the shots.

We will be borrowing the waterproof casing and shoulder stabilizer
from our media teacher, Miss Doig
The rest of our equipment will be provided by the media
department from school.

Our school will provide this equipment for us as it will all be
booked out for us to use.

5. EDITING SOFTWARE
We will use Final Cut Pro X to do all of our editing for our
production. The software will be available on the iMacs at school.
Our editor is Hannah Grinham. We will be including a lot of jump
cuts to connote the fear of the characters, as well as fades to
connote the confusion and disorientation of the protagonist. We will
also include some slow motion shots to help create the lost and
helpless tone that we want.

6. AUDIO SOFTWARE
There will be a distinct lack of dialogue in our opening sequence,
and the little that we will have, will similar to a voice over as you
will not see the man speaking as he says his line. Therefore we will
only need to use a recording studio rather than all the audio
equipment. We will use the recording studio in the drama
department at our school.
