This document discusses enterprise architecture at Synergics. It provides an overview of their architecture, configuration management database (CMDB), design approach including core types, services, and applications. It also describes how they use impact analysis to identify affected customers, services, and configuration items for change management, incidents, and customer relations. The architecture is exported to yEd for diagramming but must be manually laid out. An automatic impact analyzer is in development to integrate monitoring and incident data to improve first call resolution. Future additions may include network topology mapping.
