Game; Guess the New Word
Let the pupils listen to the words the
teacher says and let them guess the
new word.
Change /b/ to /p/ in back what is the
new word?
Change / c/ to /l/ in lake what is the
new word?
Change / n/ to /r/ in night what is the
new word?
Change /s/ to /m/ in sail what is the
new word?
Change / j/ to /f/ in jar what is the new
word?
B. Presentation:
Show pictures of the following car, can,
man, mat, pen, pet, pig, pin, six, sip.
Let the pupils name the pictures.
Say: Say car...change /r/ to /n/....say
the new word...
Say man...change /n/ to /t/... say the
new word....
Say pen...change /n/ to /t/ ... say the
new word...
Say pig...change /g/ to /n..... say the
new word...
Say six...change /x/ to /p/.... say the
new word...
