This document provides instructions for students to analyze a rhetorical example and summarize their analysis in order to provide material for their final project. Students are asked to analyze the context, rhetorical influences, personal connections, and connections to external readings of their example. For each section, they must answer questions in paragraph form about the author, purpose, audience, influential elements, how they connect personally, and how one of the assigned readings relates to their experiences or analysis. The goal is for students to thoroughly analyze and summarize their example to use in their final project.
