Autonomous vacuum cleaning robot
A new service robot designed for cleaning tasks in home environments is introduced. System has three subsystems: electrical, software and mechanical of which micro controller, sensors (opponent and light) and motor are the electrical and mechanical subsystems respectively and the software subsystem is the brain of the robot. The cleaning robot uses a micro controller to detect obstacles and manipulates its direction as per the inputs. It is programmed to accept inputs to sense obstacles around it and control the robot to avoid any collisions. In case of an obstacle, or a potential collision, the micro controller controls the wheels of the robot by a motor driver to avoid collision. The vacuum cleaner at the bottom of the robot performs the cleaning process.

A vending machine is a machine which dispenses items such as snacks, beverages, lottery tickets, consumer products to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine. Nowadays, Vending Machines are well known among Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. The quantity of machines in these countries is on the top worldwide. This is due to the modern lifestyles which require fast food processing with high quality. The objective here is to design Vending Machine Controller which accepts money inputs in any sequence and delivers the products when the required amount has been deposited and gives back the change. Here an additional facility is provided to the user. It is possible to withdraw the deposited money in between if the customer wishes so by pressing a push button. The Verilog Code for the proposed Vending Machine model is developed and the Simulation results are successfully verified using Xilinx ISE 9.2i tool.

IRJET - Hand Gesture Controlled Smart Robots using Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract The Project ‘Automatic Room Light Controller Using microcontroller ATMEGA16A and bidirectional visitor counter’ controls a room light as well as count the number of individuals entering and leaving a room. When an individual enters into a room then one counter is incremented by one and one light in a room will be switched ON and when the individuals leaves a room then the counter is decremented by one. When the number of individuals in a room is greater than 5 then 2 lights will be switched ON. When the individuals in a room are more than 10 then 3 lights will be switched ON. Similarly on increase of every 5 individuals one more light will switched ON. Lights will turn OFF when all the individuals go out of a room. The total number of individuals present inside a room is also displayed on the LCD display. IR sensors and microcontroller does above job. IR sensors sense the obstruction and microcontroller receives the signals produced by the obstruction from the sensors. The received signal is operated via program stored in ROM of Microcontroller.. Water level monitoring system
In today’s global scenario, water wastage and water shortage are an over rising problem. With the world population rising minute by minute, the need for water is increasing and therefore water conservation is the need of the hour. Today’s industries need huge amount of manpower for system supervision. We have come out with a solution where we use sensors to measure the water level of the storage system and be informed about the same, saving human efforts. Here, sensors are fit in the storage tank at different levels. The sensors are further connected to a microcontroller. The sensors detect the water level and inform it to the microcontroller which displays the storage tank status on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A gate mechanism is also attached to this system which is triggered when the water level reaches the brim of the storage system.
IOT based Water Level Monitoring system is an improved system which will inform the users about the level of liquid and will prevent it from overflowing. To demonstrate this the system makes use of containers, where the ultrasonic sensors placed over the containers to detect the liquid level and compare it with the container’s depth. The system makes use of AVR family microcontroller, Arduino, LCD screen, Wi-Fi modem for sending data and a buzzer. A 12 V transformer is used for power supply in this system. The LCD screen is used to display the status of the level of liquid in the containers. The liquid level is highlighted as colored to show the level of liquid present in the container with the help of a web page to the user. This document describes the design and implementation of an automated water bottle filling system. Other condition, which the robot can determine, is presence of fire. I.e., high temperature and presence of metals in vicinity.
Iot based acquaponic system (dsd)

When a person passes through the sensor, it interrupts the IR light and the microcontroller detects the signal change and increases or decreases the count. The system displays the in and out counts on an LCD and can help monitor visitor numbers in places like auditoriums, halls, and museums without human intervention at a low cost.
Automatic room light controller using microcontroller and visitor counter
Abstract The Project ‘Automatic Room Light Controller Using microcontroller ATMEGA16A and bidirectional visitor counter’ controls a room light as well as count the number of individuals entering and leaving a room. When an individual enters into a room then one counter is incremented by one and one light in a room will be switched ON and when the individuals leaves a room then the counter is decremented by one. When the number of individuals in a room is greater than 5 then 2 lights will be switched ON. When the individuals in a room are more than 10 then 3 lights will be switched ON. Similarly on increase of every 5 individuals one more light will switched ON. Lights will turn OFF when all the individuals go out of a room. The total number of individuals present inside a room is also displayed on the LCD display. IR sensors and microcontroller does above job. IR sensors sense the obstruction and microcontroller receives the signals produced by the obstruction from the sensors. The received signal is operated via program stored in ROM of Microcontroller.. Water level monitoring system
In today’s global scenario, water wastage and water shortage are an over rising problem. With the world population rising minute by minute, the need for water is increasing and therefore water conservation is the need of the hour. Today’s industries need huge amount of manpower for system supervision. We have come out with a solution where we use sensors to measure the water level of the storage system and be informed about the same, saving human efforts. Here, sensors are fit in the storage tank at different levels. The sensors are further connected to a microcontroller. The sensors detect the water level and inform it to the microcontroller which displays the storage tank status on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A gate mechanism is also attached to this system which is triggered when the water level reaches the brim of the storage system.
IOT based Water Level Monitoring system is an improved system which will inform the users about the level of liquid and will prevent it from overflowing. To demonstrate this the system makes use of containers, where the ultrasonic sensors placed over the containers to detect the liquid level and compare it with the container’s depth. The system makes use of AVR family microcontroller, Arduino, LCD screen, Wi-Fi modem for sending data and a buzzer. A 12 V transformer is used for power supply in this system. The LCD screen is used to display the status of the level of liquid in the containers. The liquid level is highlighted as colored to show the level of liquid present in the container with the help of a web page to the user. The buzzer starts ringing when the set limit of the liquid is crossed. Thus this system helps

AUTOMATED WATER BOTTLE FILLING SYSTEM
This document describes the design and implementation of an automated water bottle filling system. The system uses sensors, a microcontroller, motors and other electrical components to automate the bottle filling process. Bottles are moved along a conveyor belt and infrared sensors detect when each bottle reaches the filling station. A pump then fills each bottle for a set time before the conveyor moves the bottle along. The system is designed for small industries to reduce labor costs and increase productivity compared to manual bottle filling. It allows bottles to be consistently filled with the same amount of water in an efficient automated process.

Other condition, which the robot can determine, is presence of fire. I.e., high temperature and presence of metals in vicinity.

The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoring
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network

precisely delineate tumor boundaries from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
scans holds profound implications for diagnosis. This study presents an ensemble convolutional neural network (CNN) with transfer learning, integrating
the state-of-the-art Deeplabv3+ architecture with the ResNet18 backbone. The
model is rigorously trained and evaluated, exhibiting remarkable performance
metrics, including an impressive global accuracy of 99.286%, a high-class accuracy of 82.191%, a mean intersection over union (IoU) of 79.900%, a weighted
IoU of 98.620%, and a Boundary F1 (BF) score of 83.303%. Notably, a detailed comparative analysis with existing methods showcases the superiority of
our proposed model. These findings underscore the model’s competence in precise brain tumor localization, underscoring its potential to revolutionize medical
image analysis and enhance healthcare outcomes. This research paves the way
for future exploration and optimization of advanced CNN models in medical
imaging, emphasizing addressing false positives and resource efficiency.
