This document describes a coin-operated water vending machine. The machine uses a microcontroller that detects coins inserted into the machine using an infrared optocoupler sensor. When a coin is detected, the microcontroller displays a message prompting the user to place a glass below the dispenser. It then activates the water pump to fill the glass for a set time before automatically shutting off. The machine tracks the number of coins inserted and can display a message when the coin box is full. Its intended applications include providing water in public places like railway stations and bus depots.
