Effective Questioning  Why is dialog important?    It allows the teacher insight into what the student knows, what she does not know, and what she partly knows.
Effective Dialog  Effective Dialog means that the teacher has created an environment in which she is asking and receiving questions that allow the student to think and move towards greater knowledge.
