This document discusses Nisha Malhotra's use of blended learning in her introductory microeconomics course with 120-180 students. She created video tutorials to help students learn difficult concepts and incorporated active learning activities like worksheets and group problem-solving during class. Surveys found that most students watched the video tutorials and replayed portions multiple times. Group discussions during class engaged over 65% of students, with most discussing problems with 1-2 other students. Evaluation of blended learning approaches included student surveys, video analytics, and worksheet scores.
