(EEG).
A method of mapping brain activity, EEG relies on the fact that
the brain functions on electrical movements of neurons. The
EEG has traditionally been used to monitor this activity in real
time and provide insight into neurological conditions such as
epilepsy. In recent years, EEG has also become widely used
in the mental and behavioral health fields.
