While UK met its 2020 interim target, there is some doubt regarding whether it will meet the overall 2020 target of 15% of energy consumption from renewables. For the time being it seems that the UK will have to make arrangements to count renewable energy produced and used in other member states to achieve its targets. Additionally, recent government decision to remove preliminary accreditation from the Feed-in-tariff, rejection of several renewable projects and Austrian legal action against development of the Hinkley Point nuclear power plant will have an effect on the countries energy future.

How can Poland achieve increased GHG emission-reduction targets by 2030?Forum Energii
At least 55%—this is the reductions target proposed by the European Commission for greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by 2030. There is no turning back from increasingly demanding climate policy. In its latest analysis, Forum Energii shows how Poland can meet this policy.
The EU GHG emissions-reduction target does not mean that every country has to contribute equally. Keeping to the common goal but through different efforts, Poland’s contribution should be a reduction of between 44% and 51% of GHG emissions compared to 1990. This is a highly ambitious but achievable goal.
In the analysis How can Poland achieve increased GHG emission-reduction targets by 2030?, we define the flagship projects in the power sector, transport, and heating.

The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

• Between September 1999 and September 2014, the number of
manufacturing workforce jobs in Wales fell by 25.6 per cent,
compared to a fall of 36.3 per cent across the UK
• Wales accounted for £13.1bn of goods exports in 2014 – this was
11% down on the value of goods exports in 2013. Welsh export
amounted to 4.6% of the UK total.
• Manufacturing output in Wales rose by 2.2% in the year to 2014q3
compared to 2.6% reported for the UK
• Sectors contributing to growth in Wales included food and transport,
but larger declines were reported in machinery and rubber, plastics
and non-metallic minerals.
