This document discusses the author's use of Twitter to develop a professional learning network (PLN). In January 2013, the author created a Twitter account and began following educators, professors, and educational resources. By February, the author's PLN had grown substantially to 84 people followed and 44 followers. The author finds Twitter a valuable resource for gaining knowledge, making connections, and sharing opinions on educational topics. Various educators and accounts tweeted about by the author provide useful links and information.
