Eco tourism
Ecotourism has grown rapidly but definitions vary widely. It aims to involve travel to natural areas in a sustainable way that benefits the environment and local communities. However, in practice ecotourism faces many criticisms. Large-scale operations can degrade the environment and exploit local people rather than helping them. There is a lack of regulation allowing "greenwashing" where unsustainable practices are misleadingly marketed. Negative impacts on communities include displacement, threats to culture, and environmental damage. Better standards and limits on commercialization are needed to ensure ecotourism truly achieves its goals.
Nature tourism
Nature tourism – responsible travel to natural areas, which conserves the environment and improves the welfare of local people.
It is tourism based on the natural attractions of an area. Examples include birdwatching, photography, stargazing, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and visiting parks. These experiential tourists are interested in a diversity of natural and cultural resources. They want what is real, and they want to be immersed in a rich natural, cultural, or historical experience.

From the standpoint of conservation, nature-based tourism provides incentives for local communities and landowners to conserve wildlife habitats upon which the industry depends – it promotes conservation by placing an increased value on remaining natural areas. As nature tourism becomes more important to the local economy, communities have additional incentive to conserve their remaining natural areas for wildlife and wildlife enthusiasts.
The nature-based tourism efforts in Texas will continue to focus on achieving habitat conservation by providing information and assistance to private landowners, communities, businesses, and local community leaders wishing to make nature-based tourism an integral part of their business and community. By empowering people at the local level, we hope to build and provide guidance to a growing industry that holds great promise for sustainable economic development and conservation of wildlife habitat.

Research proposal on ecotourism
Ecotourism is a part of environmental conservation, and understanding what the needs of the people are who are local to the area so that you can help to improve their quality of life. It also involves learning more about the history of other cities and preserving the historical landmarks.
Here in my research I need to identify the scope and development of ecotourism. And the management of ecotourism in both government and non-government organizations.
Research Objectives are thought to be as follows:-
1. To determine the volume of tourism in ecological areas and other areas in Bangladesh.
2. Find out the opportunities for developing ecotourism.
3. Identify the pros and cons of ecotourism on the local communities of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a gift of nature. This country is an attractive ecotourism destination in south Asia (Bhuiyanet al.2010). Its natural resources, ecological advantages and situated in an important geographical nerve point are great pleasure for developing ecotourism here. Bangladesh has a host of tourist treasurers to offer to tourists- beaches, lakes, rivers, hills, forests, wildlife, tribal life, archaeological remains, including historical monuments, folklore, religious and cultural heritage, handicrafts and much more. All these combinations are enormous ecotourism products. The country, having tourism potential, must be conscious in developing market. The country has its potential to differentiate its product for its uniqueness. Therefore, ecotourism industry of Bangladesh must arrange its different elements such a way that give its better satisfaction to the visitors of the world.
Eco tourism in india
Eco tourism and camping tourism are growing industries in India. Eco tourism focuses on appreciating nature and culture while protecting the environment. Popular eco destinations include Kerala backwaters, Munnar and Thenni in Kerala, Periyar National Park, Coorg in Karnataka, Chilika Lake in Odisha, and Galgibaga Beach in Goa. Camping tourism allows visitors to experience nature in India's varied landscapes. Popular camping destinations include West Ladakh Camp, Watermark Camp on Pangong Lake, Sarchu on the Manali-Leh highway, and Royal Rajasthan Camp near Pushkar for desert camping. Both industries aim to promote conservation while providing economic opportunities for local communities.
Mangrove forest and Sustainability of Sundarban delta
Sundarban is a mangrove area and formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in Bay of Bengal. The Sundarbans mangrove forest is one of the largest such forests in the world, occupying about 40,000km area in India. India. While this mangrove forest supports biodiversity, ecosystems services and sustainable development, the Sundarban delta is an ecologically fragile and climatically vulnerable regions. The most abundant tree species of this forest are Sundri, Gewa, Byne, Garjan, Goran. The soil stratum of the delta is in dynamic construction by the characteristic root systems of mangroves. The main cable root system of the mangrove trees, comprising of aerial pneumatophores and underground anchoring roots ,slow down the movement of tidal waters that results in the sediments to settle and build up the muddy bottom. Mangroves are known as natural carbon sinks as it takes carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and store as blue carbon. Thus, it contributes heavily to reduce the warming of the earth and other ill effects of climate change. Sunderbans forest is one of the richest biodiversity hotspots in India containing about 453 faunal wildlife, including 290 bird, 120 fish, 42 mammal, 35 reptile,8 amphibian species and home for many rare and globally threatened wildlife species like the Royal Bengal tiger, Gangetic dolphin, Olive ridley turtle etc. The lives and livelihood of over 4.5 million people at Sundarban delta depend on the mangrove forest ranging from collection of honey, timber, leaves and herbs as food, fuel, hut/boat and ayurvedic medicines. Mangrove forest provide coastal protection through surge and wind suppression during tropical cyclones and often recover with time and continue to provide numerous societal benefits in the wake of storm events. The mangrove forest is very sensitive to pollution and declining at the rate of 1 percent per year due to climate change . Therefore, the sustainability of Sundarban delta requires a long-term vision that integrate climate adaptation and strategies for conservation of mangrove forest and its biodiversity.

Bangladesh with an area of 147,570 square km is bordered by India to the northeast and west, Myanmar to the southeast, and the Bay of Bengal to the south. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world and its population is still growing by over 2 million people per year. The Sundarbans mangrove forest has a history of scientific management since 1879. The Sundarbans are the world's largest halophytic mangrove forests and one of the most biologically productive of all natural ecosystems. The forest is an essential buffer for inland areas against the ravages of frequent cyclones from the Bay of Bengal. For outstanding natural value, the World Heritage committee of UNESCO inscribed the Sundarban of Bangladesh in the 798th World Heritage list in 1997 and accordingly the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh declared the Sundarban as World Heritage Site in 1999. The Sundarbans is the largest remaining habitat in the world for the Royal-Bengal Tiger. According to Ramsar convention, the wetland of Sundarban area in very complex and it is recognized as one of the most organic productive area in the world. The livelihood survival of the Sundarban community is linked with the forest resources of the Sundarbans, aquatic resources of the saline and fresh water wetlands.

The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
