I am pleased to have the opportunity to recommend Jessica Crawford for a position with your company. I
have worked with Jessica from August 2014 through May 2015. Mrs. Crawford has supported and
represented Douglass Valley Elementary school as the PTO President. Her energy and enthusiasm she has
brought to the position has made an impacting difference. She continually put the needs of others before
her own. She did a wonderful job planning, organizing and following through with all tasks and events
this year.
Mrs. Crawford brings an impressive amount of positive energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.
One of her biggest accomplishments was re-landscaping a large portion of the school’s grounds. She
worked diligently to obtain donations, gather help, plan and execute the work while working within the
parameters the school and district had set. The work took a tremendous amount of time and effort and
Jessica was eager and energetic throughout. The project made a significant difference to the school and
all that attend.
Due to Jessica putting the needs of others before her own, students were always kept the first priority.
There were many occasions when Mrs. Crawford was left short-handed, but because she was determined
to do what was best for others, she worked overtime to ensure what needed to get done got done. She is
responsible and reliable. I knew I could always count on Jessica to finish what she started and if she said
something would get done I knew it would.
Mrs. Crawford is organized and is able to see things from all angles. Running a school PTO has many
logistical pieces that require attention to detail, thorough planning, and clear communication. Mrs.
Crawford communicated in person, via email, phone, and text. I knew I could get a hold of her at any
time with questions or needs. She was able to bring many different people together and accomplish one
goal. She demonstrated leadership, a collaborative approach, and brought a lot of fun to the table as well.
Mrs. Crawford works hard, communicates well, and brings fun and energy to everything she does. She
will do well in whatever organization she supports. We have been fortunate to be able to tap into her
