had
the
pleasure

working
with
and
supervising
Cindy
Ma
for
just
under
a
year
at
the
InterLibrary
Loan
(ILL)
department
of
McHenry
Library
at
UC
Santa
Cruz.
During
her
time
as
a
student
assistant,
Cindy
always
maintained
a
professional
and
cheerful
manner.
Her
reliability
and
enthusiasm
in
the
department
is
unmatched!
Simply
put,
she
is
an
ideal
student
and
hard
worker
that
any
internship
program
would
be
lucky
to
have.
From
her
very
first
day
working
in
ILL,
Cindy
has
been
extremely
quick
learner
who
demonstrates
a
great
capacity
for
applying
new
knowledge.
What
struck
me
most
about
Cindy
was
the
initiative
she
took
while
on
the
job.
ILL
is
an
extremely
busy,
fast-­‐paced
and
understaffed
department
in
which
our
student
workers
must
learn
to
work
independently
and
prioritize
their
work
tasks.
Cindy
would
always
find
a
way
to
accomplish
more
than
what
was
expected
of
her
for
the
day.
When
finished
with
her
tasks,
she
would
always
volunteer
to
take
on
other
work.
I
give
her
my
highest
recommendation
for
this
unique
internship
opportunity,
and
I
am
certain
her
experience
and
professional
outlook
will
be

the
