Schizophrenia refers to a serious mental illness where people interpret reality abnormally. Symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, and irrational thinking and behavior that interfere with daily functioning and can be disabling.
Biological causes like genes or hormonal unbalance often lead to schizophrenia. Poor nutrition, problems during fetal development, birth complications, immune reactions, exposure to environmental toxins, living in poverty, family dysfunction, severe stress, as well as exposure to viruses in utero have also been suggested as events that may activate an underlying predisposition for schizophrenia.
For that reason, antipsychotic medication remains the first line treatment with other forms of treatment used to support and enhance its effects.
Purpose:
The purpose of this webinar is to raise awareness about sufferings of schizophrenic patients and help them with their basic needs to create a soothing life for them.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor that may occur anywhere within the oral cavity. It is locally invasive, infrequently metastasizes to ipsilateral regional lymph nodes, and rarely spreads to distant sites. Risk increases dramatically when alcohol use exceeds 6 oz of distilled liquor, 15 oz of wine, or 36 oz of beer/day. The combination of heavy smoking and alcohol abuse is estimated to raise the risk 100-fold in women and 38-fold in men.
Purpose:
The purpose of this webinar is to help participants learn how to prevent oral squamous cell carcinoma.
Life saving skills give individuals the ability to survive and also save other people during life-threatening situations. Any life-saving skill becomes useful in these cases. When an individualâs life is at risk, people tend to panic and people die when attended to by unskilled persons. Life saving skills are easy to learn. These techniques donât need you to be a health professional in order to learn. They are basic first aid techniques that could save your life and the lives of other people. We share more about the essential life saving skills you should learn!
Wildlife conservation refers to the practice of protecting wild species and their habitats in order to maintain healthy wildlife species or populations and to restore, protect or enhance natural ecosystems. The IUCN estimates that 42,100 species of the ones assessed are at risk for extinction.Expanding to all existing species, a 2023 UN report on biodiversity put this estimate even higher at a million species. It is also being acknowledged that an increasing number of ecosystems on Earth containing endangered species are disappearing.
Purpose:
The urge behind arranging awareness session regarding wildlife conservation is to save our green land from turning into a barren land .This session will enable us to take initial steps against ecological succession and global climate change.
âKnow thyselfâ, âFind who you really areâ, âUnderstand yourselfâ. Even the Emotional Intelligence theory is based on this aphorism. Understanding your feelings, discovering your strengths and weaknesses is an action of self-Knowledge.

Purpose:
The urge behind this webinar is to aware about know thyself for teaching students and youngsters.
đFree webinar on "Reinforcement Effects"
Reinforcement is a highly recommended strategy in applied behavior analysis. However, it is important to consider the possible unwanted effects of reinforcement.
Reinforcement in one setting could lead to a decrease in the target behavior in another setting (behavioral contrast).Reinforcement of a specific behavior could lead to an increase in undesirable behaviors in that same functional response class.
Similarly, reinforcement of a specific behavior could lead to a decrease in desirable behaviors in the same functional response class.
đFree webinar on "Natural Healing"
The healing power of nature refers to the body's innate ability to heal itself. When illness or imbalance occurs the body naturally wants to correct this in an effort to be healthy and well. As naturopaths we believe that symptoms are a manifestation of the body's attempt to rehabilitate.
Naturopathic medicine recognizes and respects the inherent self-healing ability of the body. Identify and Treat the Cause. The naturopathic doctor seeks to identify and remove the underlying causes of illness, rather than trying to eliminate or suppress symptoms. First Do No Harm.
"When trees burn, they leave the smell of heartbreak in the air."

Biodiversity supports everything in nature that we need to survive: food, clean water, medicine, and shelter.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
Â
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasnât one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Operation âBlue Starâ is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

When one drug maintains the physical
dependence produce by another drug

⢠Drug that is generally considered to be more dangerous,
with a higher risk of dependence
⢠Eg.: Heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine.
Hard
drugs
⢠do not cause physical addiction
⢠While they do not cause physical addiction, some of them
may still lead to psychological dependency.
⢠Eg: lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), Cannabis
Soft
drugs
14. Drug that is taken for nonmedical
reasons (usually for mind altering
effects);drug abuse can lead to
physical and mental damage and (with

PCP (Phencyclidine):
Otherwise know as angel dust. Originally
developed in the 1950âs as an anesthetic
(something used to reduce pain). It works by
