SMEs are responsible for the majority of innovations, however these innovations are often not visible to a greater audience. The innovation Top 100 has been introduced to showcase the innovatory power of Dutch SMEs. Design often lays an important role in many of these innovations. Three entrepreneurs talk about the success they have achieved and how design helped achieve that success. Participants will learn how entrepreneurs view the role of design, and how design can be implemented at SMEs.

“Revolu(onary”, that is how scien(sts worldwide call the concept of
LUXeXcel. The lenses are not produced in layers, as usually is done in 3D
prin(ng, but are being made with UV light. From one drop of synthe(c
material a lens is produced. Another drop is poured over to form a smooth
and hard surface with the help of UV light.
