Project Background
   1986 – Walton & Associates completed the
    Stormwater Management Plan
     Provided an overview of drainage issues and identified
      needs
     Drainage design standards, stormwater management
      ordinance, and stormwater management program

   1993 – David Griffith & Associates completed the
    Drainage Utility Feasibility Study
     Included a drainage analysis report by Freese & Nichols
      based on data from the 1986 study
     Recommended drainage improvements
Scope of Work
   The Drainage Master Plan will serve as a tool to develop
    an updated Drainage Capital Improvements Plan to
    support the City’s projected needs and future growth.
   It will identify and prioritize drainage and flooding
    problems and provide potential solutions and cost
    estimates.
   The project includes 5 areas of study:
       Hydrologic analysis
       Hydraulic analysis
       Review of existing watershed studies and existing conditions
       CIP development
       Geomorphological assessment of Wolf Pen Creek
Scope of Work
   The scope of work will also include:
     Data collection and field surveying
     Evaluation of existing models and creation of new
      models
     Review of existing flood concerns
     Identification and ranking of possible alternatives
     Compilation of results into a geodatabase
   Drainage infrastructure to be analyzed and
    evaluated:
     Approximately 39 total miles
      ○ 25 miles of new stream models created
      ○ 14 miles of updated models
