Meghan and Caitlin formed their pop band "Blonette" when they were 15 years old after Caitlin heard Meghan sing and thought she was amazing. They came up with the name "Blonette" which combines "blonde" and "brunette" to represent the two members. Three years later, they were discovered by Jerry Drexler from Atlantic Records and signed a record deal after posting covers on their YouTube channel. They hope to tour the UK and worldwide in the new year to thank their fans.

Despite being mere 17year olds Meghan and Caitlin are
known as the biggest pop band 0f 2014: ‘BLONETTE’.
Meghan’s high fashion and her song writing are very
creative. And for Caitlin, her fashion is very cool and so
her composing of the beats and gives us that acoustic
vibe in their songs. One they decided to perform a band
because they both loved music. So they created a
YouTube channel and posted covers of Katy Perry, Miley
Cyrus and many more awesome artists. Blonette, 3 years
later, and never gave up become discovered by Jerry
Drexler from Atlantic Records. after meeting with
blonette, they seem very happy.

• When did you form Blonette?
Meghan: We formed when we were 15 years
old. We both loved listening to music by Katy
Perry, Demi and Miley. Caitlin: Then one day I
heard Meghan sing and I thought it was A-M-A-
Z-I-N-G!!
Meghan: I already knew, Caitlin was good at
composing sick music so we thought why not!

• What made you come up with name
‘Blonette’?
Caitlin: We came up with a lot names like 2gals
and tsgirls which stands tall small girls. ahahah!
Meghan: hahaha but then in the end we went
with blonette which stands for blonde and
brunette combined together!

5. • How old were you when you started getting into
music?
Meghan: i was listening and loving music from the
of 3. i sued to listen all the time with my grandad!.i
loved listening to the rolling stones and take that
who are also my grandad’s favourites!
Caitlin: i never really took any interest in music until
i was 11 years old. i was always into sports. And
then in music class, we had to create our own song
with different beats.

6. • Who is your inspiration?
Meghan: My biggest inspiration would be Demi
Lovato, because i think she is cool and really
pretty. I like her all songs!
Caitlin: Same but if i had to choose a different
one to meghan, i’d say Ariana Grande. She has
an awesome voice. i also like what she wears!

7. • Will you be having a tour anytime soon?
Caitlin: hopefully, in the new year. We love our
fans so we want to thank them for being so
amazing.
Meghan: So we will doing a tour around the UK,
and hope to travel the world to see the best
fans!
