1. Demi Lovato: Stay Strong:
The documentary is called Demi Lovato: Stay Strong, it is a part of the Reality
TV genre. The documentary involves scenes of the famous singer / songwriter
Demi Lovato recovering froma low point in her life. The documentary is an
interactive documentary as the popstar is answering questions and those
questions were edited out. It shows Lovato’s lifeon and off stage, also after
concerts and when she is at home doing her own thing.
The camera work I recognised was the close up of her fans. This shows the
audience how supportivethey are of Demi, it also shows when Demi meets
them outsidethe Arenas that she cares and appreciates the supportand love
she gets as a Popstar.
The sound that is played throughoutthe documentary is voiceover, direct
address and also ambient music. This is used to engage the audience more into
the documentary. Directaddress is used to show the emotions of Demi at the
moment she was being interview for her documentary.
The location appeared in many different places including backstageof a
concert, on stage, at Demi’s house in Los Angeles. These locations were used
to give us an insightof what life is like at home for Demi. The editing processes
were mainly cutaway, this was used to continue on to another scene.
