Ellis-Paige is a 13-year old pop artist whose debut album topped charts in the UK, US and 7 other countries, selling over 600,000 copies worldwide. She recently completed her first UK tour and is preparing for a 2-month US tour featuring a duet with Demi Lovato. In an interview with Pulse Magazine, Ellis-Paige expresses her excitement for her upcoming tours and releases her new album in the UK on July 13th.

1. Ellis-Paige is a pop artist whose debut album topped the UK charts and US charts and came in the
top 3 in 7 other countries. She has recently completed her first UK tour and is soon go to the US
for a 2 month tour.
At 13 years of age, she is one of the youngest artists to have ever charted in 9 countries. Her debut
album sold over 600,000 copies across the world and we have a special interview here in Pulse
Magazine.
Hi Ellis, How was the UK tour?
It was amazing, it is the best thing that I have ever done and I had a really good time and learnt a lot
from the artists that I performed with. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my fans
that bought tickets.
Are you excited for your upcoming US tour?
Yes, I am very excited to meet some of my fans from America. I also cant wait to perform a duet with
Demi Lovato. However as the tour last 2 months I will miss my pet dog Pooch so much!
But it is a great opportunity to promote my music in America and I am so lucky to have this chance,
and I would like to thank my label for working hard to get me this amazing opportunity.
Would you ever like to do a tour across Europe?
I would like to some time in the near future but I dont think I have enough time this year. It would be
a great experience to learn about other cultures and learn other languages. I also think it would be
nice to meet my fans from Europe.
Do you have any routines you do before you perform?
Yes, I have to warm up my vocal chords with my vocal coach. I also have to go through all of the lines
to each song in my head so I do not get nervous. I also have to hug my mum and dad and they say
‘Good Luck.’
Ellis what is it like to be known worldwide?
It is crazy but I am loving every minute of it and I love my fans for supporting me. I am so lucky to be
a worldwide pop sensation at 13 years old! I would like to thank everybody at Sony Records, and
studios for the work put into my first album.
When does your new album hit the UK?
The 13th July, I can’t wait for my fans to hear it, I have worked really hard and have become a more
individual artist, it is different to other artists and I really hope my fans like it.
Rumour is that you’re dating pop sensation Justin Bieber! Is this true?
No, we are good friends and he is like a big brother to me- we get on really well and he really
inspires me and helps me improve my music and become a better artist.
Is it true that you are featuring on his tour in Canada next year?

2. Yes, I’m really excited and it is going to be so much fun.
What is your dream in music?
My dream is to sell enough albums so that I can go platinum, hopefully this will happen because my
fans have been amazing so far, and I am always improving as an artist.
You communicate a lot with your fans through Twitter, why is this?
I like to keep in touch with my fans, I love being able to tell them that things are going well in the
studio and it is also fun for long journeys when I am on tour.
How long have you been into music?
From about the age of 5 I have been singing, I have also been playing the guitar since I was 7.
Who would you most like to perform a duet with?
Well Selena Gomez is a amazing artist and I have always admired her passion for music, I would love
to duet with her, so who knows maybe it could happen in the near future.
If you weren’t into music, what job would you be doing in the future?
Well, I would probably be a paramedic because I love helping people.
Do you have any lucky garments that you wear on stage?
I always wear my lucky bracelet given to me by my Mum, she gave it to me on my 9th birthday and it
has a musical note on it, if I am not wearing it I start to panic.
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food has got to be chocolate because it gives me the energy to perform on tour. I also
love sausage.
Have you ever told a massive lie and been caught out?
No, I am a very honest person and me and my mum tell each other everything.
What is your favourite colour?
My favourite colour is gold, my room at home is covered in lots of gold
How do you like to spend your time when you’re not in the studio?
I like to write songs and melodies. I also love spending time with family and friends and going to the
cinema. The things I love most are going shopping with my friends and talking my dog Pooch out for
walks with my family.
What is your favourite ever film?

3. My favourite film of all time has got to be High School Musical 3, because all of the songs are so
catchy and have really good lyrics. I also think that Zac Efron is very good actor and him and his on
screen crush Vanessa Hudgens play the roles very well.
