3. The colour scheme in this music magazine is very common to
many other music magazines I have looked at. The colour of
the background come from the picture itself with the dark
grass and at the sides of the magazine gradually becomes
darker and the audience could easily tell its about a rock
band. The colour of the text is white, which I was expecting as
with the black background it makes sense to have white text
so the writing is legible. In the magazine an interesting and
unusual point is that In one of the corners, over the picture
there is a blue title which is unusual because the main colour
scheme for music magazines are red, black and white.

4. The layout of this double page is very similar to many
other double page spreads but also there are some
unusual bits in it. The layout of the text is different in
this magazine because the majority of the text is one
side of the magazine and in one column when normally
it should be spread over 3 columns. The double page
spread is presented in a neat fashion and it is easy to
navigate around the page. Overall in my opinion the
overall layout of the double page spread is good
because it has not got to much information on the page
but it also gets the key points of the double page sprea

5. The image is interesting to talk about in this music magazine.
Normally in any magazine the image in the double page
spread should either be a mid shot or a close up but in this
image they have decided to do something different. What they
have done is they have taken a overhead shot looking down at
the band. Although this is not normal in magazines but looks
very effective and grasps the audiences attention very quickly.
the contrast of the light has been boosted a lot to make their
faces stand out of the dark background.

6. The text used for the article in this double page spread is only
got one column of text when normally there is three columns
of text. The size of the text changes throughout and the
font, this has been done because the designer of the double
page spread has used anchored text to make the magazine
look professional and trying to attract the readers attention.
Anchored text is also used in different parts of the double
page spread because it highlights the key points that are
written in the article. I will defiantly consider using this in my
final production. The font for the article itself is maybe too
small for my liking so in my final piece I will increase the font
size.
