3.  I copied and pasted my text
into a text frame and made it
smaller than before and also
changed the colour to white.
I also made the drop cap
much bigger so that it would
look more similar to my
inspirational magazine. By
having smaller font it means
that I am able to include
more information and
experiment with different
design ideas such as having a
large drop cap.

4.  At the bottom I am going to add a black box
and insert the page number in that. I will use
the fill option, as on the top corner of my
page I have done this for “DJ AMZZ” and so I
thought it would be nice to keep with that
and use it for my page number at the bottom.

5.  To make my questions bolder I am going to
use century gothic instead of the original font
of Dotum.This is because century gothic has
the option to make it bold whereas Dotum
doesn’t. In addition I will use the baseline
shift tool to ensure that each line is close
together so that there isn’t any unnecessary
white space.

As you can see, after the improvements
have been made, there is more space on
the page and also the question is much
more visible and it stands out more to the
readers than before.This means that
readers can read with ease and they don’t
have to really look at the page to read the
questions.

7.  For my by-line I will
have my name going
across the image as I
have taken the image
and in my
inspirational
magazine they have
included the same by
line. I will have it in
white and in capitals
and in the same font
as the rest of the
article.

8.  By making the lines
underneath the quote
more straighter, it makes
the magazine look more
professional as it looks
more ‘proper’. It also
makes the page look more
neater.
I am going to do this by using
the line tool and aligning each
line against the words so that
they remain the same
throughout.

9.  At the end of the article I am going to include
a little bit of information about the album as
a finishing touch. It allows readers to know
what the album is called so that they can go
out and buy it. I am going to do this in
century gothic and bold and italics so that it
matches the questions. However I won’t have
it as big otherwise the reader may mistake it
for a question at first glance.

10. I have also decided to use the tracking tool to make spaces in
between each letter so that it adds more design onto the
page. At first I was going to underline it but then I saw that it
resembled the design of the question too much and so
instead I used tracking and I like how it turned out.
