for shop’s ambient products due to products expiry dates. This enables purchased
products to be delivered to the customers on next day delivery.
In order to open a shop within Rakuten, companies need to be a registered company with
an address in Japan (self or Partner). Product must be delivered from within Japan.
Financial transaction can be made within the Rakuten site.

driven by the twin engines
Important issues on int’l business strategy
• Accelerating regulatory reform
• Promoting economic partnerships
(FTAs, EPAs)
• Ambitious agricultural policy
• Securing resources and promoting export
of infrastructure
• Promoting “Cool Japan”
JETRO contributes to these policies by
supporting int’l business of Japanese companies, promoting
FDI in Japan, contributing to trade policy through research
activities and more.
Shift from “redistribution in diminishing equilibrium” to
“creation of wealth through growth” to be an industrial
country driven by twin engines (trade and industrial
investment).
