2. What do you want to do with your life? An important
question everyone asks themselves at some point.
However, many people really have no idea. What
should you want to do?
Synopsis
3. The idea is that we interview lots of students asking
what they want to do with their lives. None of the
students know for sure past what they’re doing right
now so we turn to a young child, middle aged man
and an elderly woman to see how they differ in their
answers.
Idea
4. Form: using cutaways to build character, close-ups to
emphasise difference in characters and show emotion
and also unusual shots in order to make the film stand
out.
Style: Simple documentary/interview style film.
Form & Style
5. Actors - £0
Props - £5
Costumes - 5
Travel - £15
Total: £25
Overall, not many significant costs. Actors are friends and
family who are happily taking part for free. Most props and
costumes can be sourced from college or what we already
have at our disposal. Travel costs will simply be petrol driving
to locations.
Costs
6. This is our backup plan as our original plan was
scrapped after we decided it did not have enough
structure to make a short film out of. The reason we
went with this idea is to make something a bit more
different to what is expected and try to be unique
and stand out.
