Digital Dice Project
Team Members:

Objective:
The objective of the digital dice is to create a circuit that stimulates the rolling of the six-sided dice,
producing a random number between 1 and 6each time it is triggered. This project aims to demonstrate
the principles of digital logic design, especially control logic implementation.
Project Description:
The project contains a bread board upon which different component of circuits are connected. 4017 IC
and 555 IC are attached to the pins of the bread board. Different resistors and capacitor are also used.
Random LED will turn ON after each time the final wire connected to the battery.
Logic Diagram/Methodology:
Expected Outcome:
As a result, when all the circuit implementation is done then after connecting the final wire random
LED turns on.
Resources Required:
Following are the some equipments which are required for this project:
1) Bread Board 6) Push Button
2) IC 4017 7) 9V Battery
3) IC 555 8) Few Connecting Wires
4) 1k Resistors(2) 9) Switch
5) 6 LEDs 10) 330 ohm Resistors (6)
Use the 4017 IC and IC 555 on the bread
board. Connect one terminal of 1k
resistor to +ve and other to another 1k
resistor. Now connect one end of
capacitor to second resistor and other to
ground. Connect cathode of each LED
to the resistors and then resistors to the
ground. Then connect the wires with
specified pins of ICs. At last connect the
9V Battey to one end of final wire.
