With both connectors placed the spoolpiece (flanged section)
replacement is descending.
The connector on the left has been set. The connector on the
right was pulled to the replacement section by the tightening of
the nuts on the replacement flange.
The concrete protective coating has been removed. The
pipeline has been cut in two places and the deteriorated section
is being hoisted away.
The ends of the pipeline have been cleaned more than the
length of the connector.
