This document contains a series of homework tasks for students in Years 7 and 8 related to computing topics. The tasks cover researching computer components and their functions; the development of computers over time; how computing power may increase as transistors can no longer shrink; how tasks are scheduled on supercomputers; uses of databases; binary data; open source software; advantages of databases; HTML tags; the importance of HTML; PowerPoint features like hyperlinks, hotspots, animations and interactions; and creating a tutorial on adding hotspots/hyperlinks and sound to PowerPoint. For each task, students are instructed to write reports, create posters, PowerPoints or other media, and ensure their work has no spelling/grammar errors and properly cites sources

I joined 3 other UX experts to teach and consult hackers and makers about UX at #Startathon Singapore, the largest 24-hour future-driven hackathon/makathon event in Asia.
My talk was on how to use wireframes and prototypes to craft a beautiful and well thought out user experience. In this talk, I compare different wireframing and prototyping tools, and advised on how to choose the right tool.
Guest lecture at Queensland University of Technology.
For 3rd year IT degree: Mobile Application Development (INB348) and Advanced Multimedia Systems (INB386).
The Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that allows programmers and data scientists to create and share documents that contain live code, visualizations and narrative text. Jupyter Notebook is one of most popular tool for data visualization and machine learning, and it is the perfect tool for story telling tool for data scientist.
First, the paper will start with the introduction of Jupyter Notebook and why it is the most popular tool for data scientist to show, share and visualize the data and analysis. The paper will show how data scientist uses Python programming language in Jupyter Notebook. The paper will show how data scientists import data into Jupyter Notebook using Panda. The paper will introduce Python data visualization library, matplotlib, and show how data scientists use matplotlib to easily create scatter plot, line, histograms, Kaplan Meier curves and many more.
The paper will present how data scientist use Jupyter notebook for image recognitions with visualization and machine learning. The paper will show how data scientists can convert images into numeric array. Then, the paper will show how data scientist can use this numeric data to visualize and train machine learning model for image recognition.

Software development is not exactly the same as computer programming. When it comes to a career, development for productization introduces many more things than simply coding. It is important to learn how to accomplish tasks, sharpen skills, develop the career and enjoy it. And last but not the least, how to start?
Basic overview of software test types, methodologies.
Explaining and reasons to test and common pitfalls with various testing methodologies.
Example scenarios for the viewer to think about test strategies.
Tips to avoid having to write tests in the first place.

In this whitepaper, LearnItFirst founder Scott Whigham talks about how you can become a good (or better) C# programmer. This whitepaper is long - 15 pages - but it includes both a step-by-step system to follow as well as an in-depth discussion of each step.
If you follow this 13-step system (with a bonus 14th step), you can’t help but become a good C# developer!
What is practice, Examples, Best practices that developers should follow. Useful tools that every developer should carry and useful GitHub repositories.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
