 The survey was conducted to study how society sees the LGBT
people ( Lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender) compared in different
geography, religions and ages
 Methodology: Online survey
 Fieldwork time: 3 days (16/7/2015 to 18/7/2015)

KEY FINDINGS
• The LGBT people is more showing themselves to the public with nearly 50%
claimed to see them on the street
• Gene and environment are most believed reasons causing LGBT orientation
• Only 1/3 people accept their LGBT families but 45% will seek ways to support
LGBT
• LGBT is less supporting in the North than the South especially in friendship and
workplace while The central and highlands people is less opened when received
love from LGBT
• Nearly 50% people support same sex marriage become legal in Vietnam and
the younger they are the more they support the LGBT rights
• LGBT on the movie is more accepting than they are in the commercial
advertising
• The sooner people find out about their LGBT partner, the more likely people
break up with them
