DIGITAL ALBUM OF
ORNAMENTAL FISHES

NATURAL SCIENCE
A Digital album is a software application, that allow
the user to import images ,files from digital
Camera, memory card or computet hardware disk to
a central database .The most important benefit
Of digital photo albums is by far their shareability.
As part of B.Ed course, i'm preparing a digital album
on the topic :ORNAMENTAL FISHES.
ORNAMENTAL FISH
• Fishesthat are keep in home
aquarium or for aesthetic
purpose are considered
ornamental fish.
• These fishes encompass a wide
variety of species of many shape ,
sizes and colour.
1.ANGEL FISH
• Angel fish is a small
genus of freshwater
fish.
• They have thin flat
body with curved
dorsal and anal fin.
• They have feathery
pectoral fins along
with dark eyes and
small tooth.
2.HALF BLACK
FISH
Features
• The half black fish
belong to the species of
poecilia reticulata.
• They have ectremely
peaceful ,hard and
highly energetic fish .
• A bicolour combination
of pearly white front
half fading to a back
half with orange around
the gills and eye.
3.GLASS CAT
FISH
Feature
• Glass cat fishes ribs ver
tically and acentral spinal
column.
• Their tail fin is nearly
invisible as in the ventral
fin on their stomach.
• They look amazing but it
also provide quite a bit of
camouflage ftom predators.
4.BLACK VEIL
ANGEL FISH
Features
• The black veil angel fish
has a dark black colors.
• Its fins grow longer with
age.
• It one of the easiest angel
fish breed to maintain.
• It can also make a home in
hard and soft water.

FISH
6.MOSCOW
Features
• The highly popular moscow is
commonly known as a solid
color guppy with a colorful
texture of it's head.
• The reproduction of moscow
is from its moscows male
note females.
• The black moscows have
nearly pitch black bodies and
sometimes have a green
metallic sheen.
7.NEONTETRA
Features
• The neon tetra isa
freshwaterfish of the characin
family of order characiforms.
• The neontera has a light blue
black over asilver white
abdomen.
• TheNeontetra have iridiscent
blue horizontal stripe along
each side of the fish from its
nose to the baseof adipose fin
8.ZEBRADANIO
FISH
Features
• The zebra danion
are fresh water fish.
• The zebra danio is
easily recoganized
by its distinctive
horizontal stripes.
• Zebra danion are
omnivorous
acceptingalmost
aby types of food.
9.PLATY FISH
Features
• Platy is a common
freshwater fish in
the genus
xiphophorous that
lacks a sword at the
bottom of their tail.
10.BARB
FISH
Features
• A barb is one of the
various ray finned fish
species in a
nonphylogenetic
group.
• Their common name
barbs and barbels.
• The hard roe of the
barbus is often
poisonous.
11.KOI FISH
Features
• Koi is a fresh water
fish that widely lives
in rivers ponds.
• They eat animal food
such as shell fish like
pond snail cary fish.
• The color of koi varies
depending on their
variety .many craps
often seen in rivers
are usually light
brown .
12. GOURAMIS
FISH
Features
• Gourami fish are
diverse family of
mediumto large sized
fish.
• This species is a
compact oval fish with
along filamentous ray
extending from each
pelvic fin.
• As an adult it is brown
or gray with a paler
belly when young it is
dark bended and
rexdish brown.
13.RED MOSAIC
GUPPY
Features
• The male red mosaic
guppy have red dumbo
ear and a beautiful red
tail with the mosaic
pattern on it.
• The male red mosaic
guppy is extremely
colorful a nd large
caudal fin.
• The female is usually
larger thicker bodied
with less color and a
smaller caudal fin.
14.CALICO GOLD
FISH
Features
• calico gold fish have a
type of scale that
intermediate
between the metallic
type of scales and
the transport type.
• Calico gold fish often
have patches of red
,yellow, grey, and
black along with dark
speckles on a blue
back ground.
15.BETTA FISH
Features
• The siamese
fighting fish
commonly known
as the betta.
• Betta is a fresh
water fish native to
south asia
• Betta fishes grow to
be no longer than
3 inches typically
their usual lifespan
2to 5 yrs.
16.MOLLY FISH
Features
• These are the wild
ltype fishes are dull
and silvery in color.
• The molly can
produce fertile
hybrids with many
poecillia species most
importantly the
sailfin molly.
• Poecilia sphenops isa
species of fish of the
genus poecilla
common name Molly.
17.LOACH
Features
• Loach any of the small
generally elongayed fresh
water fishes of the family
cobitidae.
• A typical loach has very
small scales and three to
six pairs of whiskerl like
barbles around its mouth.
• Loaches arehardy usually
nocturnal fishes that in
habit both still and
flowing waters.
18.GREEN SWORD
TAIL FISH
• Features.
• The green sword tail is a
species of fresh water fish
in family poeciliidae.
• The male sword tail grows
to a maximum overall
length of 14cm female to
16cm.
• The green sword tail
prefer swift flowing its
also found in warm
springs and canals.
19.ROYAL PLECO
Features.
• Royal pleco is an
herbivorous fresh
water fishes.
• Royal pleco are light
grey in color patterened
with dark grey
squiggles..
• They have a strong
sucker likecmouth.
20.DISCUS FISH
Features
• Discus are fish from
the genus
symphysodon .
• They have
compressed disk
shaped body.
• Due to their
distinctive shape
behaviour and bright
colors and patterns
discus are popular as
freshwater aquarium
fish.
21. SEVERUM
CICHILD
Features
1. Severum cichild is a
fresh water fish also
known as
severums.poor
man's discus.
2. Severum cichild was
attractive,serene,an
d active.
3. Their colorful body
and
pleasantpersonalitie
s makes them a
popular fish.

A Digital album is a software application, that allow the user to import images ,files from digital Camera, memory card or computet hardware disk to a central database .The most important benefit Of digital photo albums is by far their shareability. As part of B.Ed course, i'm preparing a digital album on the topic :ORNAMENTAL FISHES.
  • 3. ORNAMENTAL FISH • Fishesthat are keep in home aquarium or for aesthetic purpose are considered ornamental fish. • These fishes encompass a wide variety of species of many shape , sizes and colour.
  • 4. 1.ANGEL FISH • Angel fish is a small genus of freshwater fish. • They have thin flat body with curved dorsal and anal fin. • They have feathery pectoral fins along with dark eyes and small tooth.
  • 5. 2.HALF BLACK FISH Features • The half black fish belong to the species of poecilia reticulata. • They have ectremely peaceful ,hard and highly energetic fish . • A bicolour combination of pearly white front half fading to a back half with orange around the gills and eye.
  • 6. 3.GLASS CAT FISH Feature • Glass cat fishes ribs ver tically and acentral spinal column. • Their tail fin is nearly invisible as in the ventral fin on their stomach. • They look amazing but it also provide quite a bit of camouflage ftom predators.
  • 7. 4.BLACK VEIL ANGEL FISH Features • The black veil angel fish has a dark black colors. • Its fins grow longer with age. • It one of the easiest angel fish breed to maintain. • It can also make a home in hard and soft water.

  • 9. 6.MOSCOW Features • The highly popular moscow is commonly known as a solid color guppy with a colorful texture of it's head. • The reproduction of moscow is from its moscows male note females. • The black moscows have nearly pitch black bodies and sometimes have a green metallic sheen.
  • 10. 7.NEONTETRA Features • The neon tetra isa freshwaterfish of the characin family of order characiforms. • The neontera has a light blue black over asilver white abdomen. • TheNeontetra have iridiscent blue horizontal stripe along each side of the fish from its nose to the baseof adipose fin
  • 11. 8.ZEBRADANIO FISH Features • The zebra danion are fresh water fish. • The zebra danio is easily recoganized by its distinctive horizontal stripes. • Zebra danion are omnivorous acceptingalmost aby types of food.
  • 12. 9.PLATY FISH Features • Platy is a common freshwater fish in the genus xiphophorous that lacks a sword at the bottom of their tail.
  • 13. 10.BARB FISH Features • A barb is one of the various ray finned fish species in a nonphylogenetic group. • Their common name barbs and barbels. • The hard roe of the barbus is often poisonous.
  • 14. 11.KOI FISH Features • Koi is a fresh water fish that widely lives in rivers ponds. • They eat animal food such as shell fish like pond snail cary fish. • The color of koi varies depending on their variety .many craps often seen in rivers are usually light brown .
  • 15. 12. GOURAMIS FISH Features • Gourami fish are diverse family of mediumto large sized fish. • This species is a compact oval fish with along filamentous ray extending from each pelvic fin. • As an adult it is brown or gray with a paler belly when young it is dark bended and rexdish brown.
  • 16. 13.RED MOSAIC GUPPY Features • The male red mosaic guppy have red dumbo ear and a beautiful red tail with the mosaic pattern on it. • The male red mosaic guppy is extremely colorful a nd large caudal fin. • The female is usually larger thicker bodied with less color and a smaller caudal fin.
  • 17. 14.CALICO GOLD FISH Features • calico gold fish have a type of scale that intermediate between the metallic type of scales and the transport type. • Calico gold fish often have patches of red ,yellow, grey, and black along with dark speckles on a blue back ground.
  • 18. 15.BETTA FISH Features • The siamese fighting fish commonly known as the betta. • Betta is a fresh water fish native to south asia • Betta fishes grow to be no longer than 3 inches typically their usual lifespan 2to 5 yrs.
  • 19. 16.MOLLY FISH Features • These are the wild ltype fishes are dull and silvery in color. • The molly can produce fertile hybrids with many poecillia species most importantly the sailfin molly. • Poecilia sphenops isa species of fish of the genus poecilla common name Molly.
  • 20. 17.LOACH Features • Loach any of the small generally elongayed fresh water fishes of the family cobitidae. • A typical loach has very small scales and three to six pairs of whiskerl like barbles around its mouth. • Loaches arehardy usually nocturnal fishes that in habit both still and flowing waters.
  • 21. 18.GREEN SWORD TAIL FISH • Features. • The green sword tail is a species of fresh water fish in family poeciliidae. • The male sword tail grows to a maximum overall length of 14cm female to 16cm. • The green sword tail prefer swift flowing its also found in warm springs and canals.
  • 22. 19.ROYAL PLECO Features. • Royal pleco is an herbivorous fresh water fishes. • Royal pleco are light grey in color patterened with dark grey squiggles.. • They have a strong sucker likecmouth.
  • 23. 20.DISCUS FISH Features • Discus are fish from the genus symphysodon . • They have compressed disk shaped body. • Due to their distinctive shape behaviour and bright colors and patterns discus are popular as freshwater aquarium fish.
  • 24. 21. SEVERUM CICHILD Features 1. Severum cichild is a fresh water fish also known as severums.poor man's discus. 2. Severum cichild was attractive,serene,an d active. 3. Their colorful body and pleasantpersonalitie s makes them a popular fish.
