Digipak ideas!!
- 3. These are some of the initial ideas I had, based on photos I tool on location and screen-shots from the footage I got. I think I would like to try and keep the themes of bold, block colours and social realism apparent in my digipak and advert, because these are things that my genre does very frequently and that way I can also keep the digipak and advert cohesive to the music video itself. Quite often in this genre there are no photos on the album covers, just shapes and patterns, so i think with mine I will experiment with both and see which works out better. I think however for the sake of uniformity and cohesively within products I will probably choose to use photos on my cover.
- 4. This was the initial idea for the cover, and I like the shapes that I ended up using however I think maybe a bit more thought needs to go into the background colour and the font size too. After discussing with some peers I decided that having the circles with the photos in too was too much, so I changed it to be slightly more minimalist, which is in fact very conventional so I think this type of layout works well, and it is probably this sort of think that I will have in the final product.
- 5. I started to look at the type of thing that would be inside too, and I realised that most of the time albums tend to draw attention to the circle that the CD goes over by having some kind of circle motif, so that is what I have started to do here.
