The document contains evaluations from a student of various digital graphic narrative development exercises they completed. For their first shape task, the student liked that it used simple shapes but felt they could have made the shapes more accurate. For their rotoscope exercise, the student enjoyed including more detail but wishes they focused more on quality. Their film quote allowed interpreting the quote creatively but they want to apply more techniques in the future.
4. Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The thing i liked most about my image and the reason that i picked it was because the
shape was a simple outline, and was straight forward in the sense of following and
getting the correct shapes to place over, this helped me develop my skills as i was
slowly moving on to more complex shapes and not rushing into it. The image only had
a few main shapes which i had to do however they turned out really well.
What would you improve if you did it again?
if i was to improve my image, the thing i would work on the most is getting the shapes
i did over, more accurate and more shaped rather than just sticking to the simple
circles, and ovals. I used the warping tool often with the shapes, however they still
were'nt as accurate as the orginal image and therefore didn't look as detailed when
i'd finished.

What did you like about your image?
My rotoscope i found turned out very well. The thing i liked most about my image was
that there were more than just the simple standard features to the face, and it had
more detail which allowed me to work on my skills and detail within the image.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would improve this image by making sure all my rotoscoping was accurate and was
up to the best standard, rather than concerntrating on getting most of it done and
then not concertrating on the quality of the final piece. I would also like to chose a
different image which had more than just the face in,as i found the face a simple
subject and was little for me to base on.

What did you like about your image?
One of the main things i liked most about my film quote was beign able to interprate
the quote and find my own images, and text to include in my image. I thought this
helped my understanding of the quote more, and there allowed me to use more of
the ranges of tools depending on what image i chose to do. I chose a picture of 2 boys
in a field and then added text to it afterwards. I chose this image inparticular so that i
could have more things going on in the image rather than just one subject. I found
having more than 1 character gave more of a basing and a storyline.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The thing i would improve is using more of the techniques ans styles we'd been
showed in previous lessons and including them in my work pieces. I would definietly
deal with my timing better so that i had more time to give more detail to the image.

What did you like about your image?
i liked trying out the different types of text and different types of styles, as i will now
be able to include them in my future work to give it more detail. I liked to keep things
simple with my texts and to not go to overboard with the shaping and colour so i
chose a simple style with just a simple image in the background.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would do more example of the texts, and for my final example i would maybe give
the text a little more detail and style to it.

What did you like about your image?
The thing i liked most about this image turnout was the fact that i kept it simple, and
didn't overfill it with effect, and so it looked more real, and nicer as if i was to put
more effects on it and colour it may look overpowered.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The only thing i would improve with my image is the threshold. This didnt go exactly
how i planned it to, and turned most of the image black which then caused problems
when i came to add colour as it didn't look as good and looked quite packed as most
of it was either black or in colour.
15. Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I liked how my image didn't have to much on the background ans you could clearly
see the images, and the order in which they were taken in which explained the
storyline quite clearly. My images included ones faken from both inside and outside
which gave it more of variation within the storyline.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would improve my image by making the background relate more to the storyline
without necessarily changing the colour of the background colour.

Export Format
JPEG
Advantages: An advantage of exporting it in a JPEG is that is a small file size and
therefore it will not take as much storage room. Another advantage is that it’s a full
colour transition and the quality is very high with little compression.
Disadvantages: A disadvantage of this format is it doesn’t not support transparency
and It also less suitable for working with text or monochrome
