Vivekananda was born Narendranath Datta .t his ancestral home at 3 Gourmohan Mukherjee Street in Calcutta, the capital of British India, on 12 January 1863 during the Makar Sankranti festival. He belonged to a traditional Bengali Kayastha family and was one of nine siblings.Durgacharan Datta, Narendra's grandfather was a Sanskrit and Persian scholar who left his family and became a monk at age twenty-five. His mother, Bhubaneswari Devi, was a devout housewife.
The progressive, rational attitude of Narendra's father and the religious temperament of his mother helped shape his thinking and personality.
Narendranath was interested spiritually from a young age, and used to meditate before the images of deities such as Shiva, Rama, Sita, and Mahavir Hanuman. He was fascinated by wandering ascetics and monks.
Narendra's first introduction to Ramakrishna occurred in a literature class at General Assembly's Institution when he heard Professor William Hastie lecturing on William Wordsworth's poem, The Excursion.
While explaining the word "trance" in the poem, Hastie suggested that his students visit Ramakrishna of Dakshineswar to understand the true meaning of trance. This prompted some of his students (including Narendra) to visit Ramakrishna.

Born to a Gujarati OBC family in Vadnagar, Modi helped his father sell tea as a child, and later ran his own stall. He was introduced to the right-wing Hindu nationalist organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at the age of eight, beginning a long association with the organisation. He left home after graduating from school, partly because of an arranged marriage which he rejected. Modi traveled around India for two years, and visited a number of religious centres. He returned to Gujarat and moved to Ahmedabad in 1969 or 1970. In 1971 he became a full-time worker for the RSS. During the state of emergency imposed across the country in 1975, Modi was forced to go into hiding. The RSS assigned him to the BJP in 1985, and he held several positions within the party hierarchy until 2001, rising to the rank of general secretary.
Modi was appointed chief minister of Gujarat in 2001, due to Keshubhai Patel's failing health and poor public image following the earthquake in Bhuj.
Modi led the BJP in the 2014 general election, which gave the party a majority in the Lok Sabha, the first time a single party had achieved this since 1984. Modi himself was elected to parliament from Varanasi. Since taking office, Modi's administration has encouraged foreign direct investment in the Indian economy, increased spending on infrastructure, and reduced spending on health and social welfare programs. Modi has encouraged efficiency in the bureaucracy, and centralized power through the abolition of the planning commission. Modi has begun a high-profile sanitation campaign, and loosened environmental and labor laws. A Hindu nationalist and member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Modi remains a controversial figure domestically and internationally.
A Budget is a quantitative expression of a plan for a defined period of time. It may include planned sales volumes and revenues, resource quantities, costs and expenses, assets, liabilities and cash flows. It expresses strategic plans of business units, organizations, activities or events in measurable terms
Budget helps to aid the planning of actual operations by forcing managers to consider how the conditions might change and what steps should be taken now and by encouraging managers to consider problems before they arise. It also helps co-ordinate the activities of the organization by compelling managers to examine relationships between their own operation and those of other departments.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2. Introduction To Dhirubhai
Dhirubhai Ambani alias Dhirajlal Ambani
Born on December 28, 1932 in Chorwad,
Gujarat. And Died on 6th July 2002
Father’s name: Hirachand Ambani (A
School teacher)
Mother’s name: Jamnaben Ambani (A
house Wife)
3. Life History
Got educated till 12th grade but due to lack of funds he couldn’t study further
So Dhirubhai started to sell bhajiyas to pilgrimers off mount Girnar
As his father was unwell and couldn't work any more he told his son that you have to earn more than you
are earning now. Your brother(Ramnikbhai) has arranged Job for you in Aden
4. On reaching Aden, Dhirubhai joined office on the very day of his arrival. It was a clerk's job
with the A. Besse & Co., named after its French founder Antonin Besse. Those days Aden
was the second busiest trading and oil bunkering port in the world after London handling
over 6,300 ships a year.
The company in which Dhirubhai worked was engaged in almost every branch of trading
business - cargo booking, handling, shipping, forwarding, and wholesale merchandising.
Besse acted as trading agents for a large number of European, American, African and
Asian companies and dealt with all sorts of goods ranging from sugar, spices, food grains
and textiles to office stationery, tools, machinery and petroleum products. Dhirubhai was
first sent to the commodities trading section of the firm. Later, he was transferred to the
section that handled petroleum products for the oil giant Shell.
At Aden Dhirubhai learnt how to do business, accounts, bookkeeping , and all other
business skills
As the company he worked in built a new harbor for distribution of oil in shell he was
promoted to work their. And one fine day he dreamt of HAVING A REFINERY OF HIS OWN
5. Now Dhirubhai Ambani had enough money to start his own business in India
and so he felt that India was calling me though having a dream of opening a
shop in London
Started "Majin" in partnership with Champaklal Damani, his second cousin, who used to be with him
in Aden, Yemen. Majin was to import polyester yarn and export spices to Yemen. The first office of
the Reliance Commercial Corporation was set up at the Narsinatha Street in Masjid Bunder. It was a
350 sq ft room with a telephone, one table and three chairs. Initially, they had two assistants to help
them with their business.
During this period, Dhirubhai and his family used to stay in a one-bedroom apartment at
the Jai Hind Estate in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai. In 1965, Champaklal Damani and Dhirubhai
Ambani ended their partnership and Dhirubhai started on his own.
In 1968, he moved to an upmarket apartment at Altamont Road in South Mumbai.
6. Sensing a good opportunity in the textile business, Dhirubhai Ambani, along with Amit Mehra, a Delhi-based
chartered accountant and company secretary residing in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, started the first textile mill at
Naroda, in Ahmedabad in the year 1966. Textiles were manufactured using polyester fiber yarn.
Dhirubhai started the brand "Vimal", which was named after his elder brother Ramaniklal
Ambani's son, Vimal Ambani. Extensive marketing of the brand "Vimal" in the interiors of India
made it a household name. Franchise retail outlets were started and they used to sell "only
Vimal" brand of textiles.
In the year 1975, a Technical team from the World Bank visited the Reliance Textiles' Manufacturing
unit. This unit has the rare distinction of being certified as "excellent even by developed country
standards" during that period. Amit Mehra had played a pivotal role in helping and supporting
Dhirubhai in this success
7. Now their 2 sons Mukesh bhai and Anil bhai were big enough to handle and diversify the business.
Dhirubhai had a severe stroke and were admitted in hospital and remained in comma for 10 days and when he came
out of comma he had got his right hand paralyzed
Though his right had was paralyzed he had the same vigor and kind of dreams to succeed!
On 6th July he got an another severe Stroke which laid him dead
8.
9. 1: .
sense of ‘do it yourself’
He does not wait for infrastructure to be
created to support his operations. He goes
out and builds it himself; be it a power
plant for his petrochemical enterprise or a
canal to bring water from large distances
for his cooling plant.
10. There used to be a time when
our agency Mudra was the
target of some extremely
vicious propaganda by our
peers,
knowledge that he knew and
cared for what his team was
going through, and that he
was there for Them if needed
him, worked wonders for
confidence.
11. When he helped
someone, he never
ever breathed a word
about it to anyone else
"Expect the
unexpected" just might
have been coined for
him.
12. Whenever a task seemed too big to be
accomplished, he would reply: " No is no
answer!" Not only did he dream big, he
taught all of us to do so too.
his favorite phrase "dream with your eyes
open"
"It's difficult but not
impossible!"
13. management
techniques of him is
different
the simplest strategies
are often the hardest to
adopt.
“let professionals do the
work”
This technique enforced
responsibility among his
team "Produce your best."
14. Dhirubhai's "orbit theory."
This is no miracle.
when you change orbits, you
will create friction. The good
news is that your enemies from
your previous orbit will never
be able to reach you in your
new one. By the time
resentment builds up in your
new orbit, you should move to
the next level. And so on.
Changing orbits
is the key to
our progress as
a nation.
