N.R. Narayana Murthy is an Indian businessman who co-founded Infosys and served as its CEO from 1981-2002 and chairman from 2002-2011. He obtained degrees in electrical engineering and a master's from IIT Kanpur. In 1981, he co-founded Infosys with an initial capital of Rs. 10,000 provided by his wife. Under his leadership, Infosys grew into a globally respected corporation known for its business solutions and high quality employees. He is recognized for his positive and democratic leadership style and success in thinking big but starting small.

 After he started a company SOFTRONICS in 1976 and
the company failed to perform.
 Then he joined patni computer system in Pune.
 Founded Infosys in 1981 with an initial capital
injection of rs10,000/- which was invested by his wife
