This document analyzes the operation principle and control methods of the Z-source inverter, specifically focusing on the improved SPWM control method to address output voltage and current distortion associated with inductive loads. The proposed approach aims to enhance inverter efficiency by reducing switching losses and improving the quality of the AC output, with MATLAB simulation results demonstrating its effectiveness. The findings highlight the advantages of the improved control method in mitigating distortion and reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) in the output voltage.
